Many people think that the 7700-7900 series of CPUs were the high spot.

can’t afford the new prices on memory, storage, or anything else.
But I can replace anything you need except for the 2080, I jumped from the
1080ti straight to the 3060 and stopped with the 3090.

I’ve always run on the on-board graphics, the graphics cards have been
for computation only. In fact, my current computer has the card ports
blocked by an aluminum plate I made to mount a pair of server fans
to help cool my top graphics card. So I couldn’t run a monitor off of
the GPUs if I wanted to.

Then the new right populist party, that started as an anti EU party as split off from the conservatives but are moving continuously further right out of what our constitution stands for. The parties in my country must follow democracy rules and they continuously vote out normal people and vote in more and more people to their own head positions who are known to be fascists and used to cite nazis from 1930s. They have connections to the US MAGA group. By their program they are economically libertarian. There are more parties but they do not have a chance to get seats in the parliament. Regionally yes.
In hungary the former president Mr Orban took too many steps towards kleptocratism and was voted out, with a 2/3 majority a conservative won. Luckily Mr Orban accepted his defeat. There are different kind of systems in place in europe, some presidential like USA and france others like UK elect a parliament and the parliament elects the ones who will be the government. And they can change that government with a new majority in parliament. It happened once in germany when in 1982 the government changed from Mr Schmidt (much respected chancellor) to Mr Kohl (also much respected chancellor) in the middle between elections. Swiss (not EU) has lots of decisions about laws by direct referendum by the populace. For local decisions in some places all with voting rights can collect on the market place and vote by rising a hand to local decisions. They do have strict regulations about informing the voters about the items to vote for.
The conservatives in germany are entrepreneur friendly and have traditionally good connections with industry. Including revolving doors between parliament and industry boards. The social democrats are a bit more spread but are traditionally employee friendly and close to unions but that got diluted a lot lately since according to german laws in big corps representatives elected by the employees sitting in the board too and lost the trust of many workers. They can be in a union but they dont need to. the majority is social democrats leaning some are conservative. The liberals are traditionally a party for small to big business owners, Lawyers, Dentists and such. The greens have their basis mostly with people who have university degrees, live in cities, have high income. The new right is mostly based in low income, low education groups with heavy weight in former communist east germany. They are more afraid of crisis, problems and immigrants than others. They like authoritarian “easy and quick” solutions. Mostly middle aged men. There are three groups. Men who are afraid to lose income and status, people who are not happy with the current situation of our democracy and third one third of them are right out fascists and nazis.
