    Sorry about the delay.
TGW has been experiencing many Denial of Service attacks.
I don’t know how to prevent them.

Maybe an internet browser or a Satellite out of sink. I have received the error message.
      Now everything is working well.

I wish could help PC, but those days are long gone
for this old man. My computer is getting unstable too,
too many brown-outs due to the window AC. So I’m
doing without, I figure I’ll run it when I go to bed,
cover with a blanket, and shut it down when I get up.

A healthy-size UPS should help with the power dips

I already thought of that, but right now my computer time
is the only thing holding me together, and I’m broke as all
hell. I’m hoping to get one next month, for now I have a
heavy-duty extension cord running the AC. Don’t panic, it’s
a 12 gauge that’s only 15 feet long and I plugged it in where
we setup for my wife’s oxy machines were. That’s part of
the problem, hearing that throbbing pulse noise go silent
really gets me some days, it’s just TOO quiet now. I keep
hearing outdoor noises and the old habits from my
          childhood start in.

Talk to your ISP and see if they can set up a network sniffer. I worked at a small company
(a perfectly harmless and profitless company – didn’t when it became profitless)
that somehow became the target of a Denial of Service. Turns out they were targeting
our VM servers. Anyway, work with your ISP to see if they can provide some clues or patterns.
It might be random. Ours certainly was.
Hate to say it (as a lefty), but it’s a sad world: it may be politically motivated. Sites on both sides
of the political spectrum get targeted. “It’s a thing.”

They had to double-up on my happy pill, I couldn’t
tell the difference. I’m still set for the 25th, funny
thing, I seen the family doc today and I used the
term “psyc-nanny’s” and she busted out laughing.
Said she was going to use that term too. PC, I think
    we just started something…
I am getting slightly better, I stopped hearing her
    voice at least.

It’s funny, back in ’83 the factory I worked at was like that,
hard to get in, but once you do, everyone acted like you
were joining a family. Then the owner retired and sold it
off, it went to hell after that. pretty sad really, they just wanted
processes and tricks, after they got it they downsized it to death.

Seems to me that the Foxes are switching sides pretty quickly.
Good. If enough of the GC joins or at least stays neutral the
rest might follow, but I’m sure there will be another attempt
to take over Earth, if for no other reason than for the tech.

Panels 3 and 4. I wish more companies would operate on that
principle. I worked for some pretty egalitarian companies
and poor management downward was a cause for one or two
execs to be fired. But it was far too rare. Usually good people
got fed up and left for more money or a manager who
    wasn’t managing upwards.
Little known fact – main reason employees leave a company?
    NOT MONEY. It’s bad management.

That’s how it was at the factory, when it was family owned it was great
place to work for, but when the Austrian company (who was a competitor of ours)
bought it, they tore it apart, broke the union, ruined the parts we made
claiming cost saving measures, and downsided the employees until they
closed the doors. We had 450 people working there before the sale, it
dropped to 95 then the doors closed. Funny thing was they started a
satellite factory making the same things but the pay was cut 35%. I
just love corporate BS, don’t you?

Yeah. First Corporate gig I had, the company was great. Great rewards. Good stock plan.
Incredibly loyal customer base. They loved us and we loved ’em’ back. And then we got
bought by a competitor. Tried to get customers to switch – and they wouldn’t.
About a year after the company bought and tried to convert our customers BOOM…
CEO and CFO left. Turned out they were diddling the numbers.
(The two did eventually do jail time). I lost a fifth of my salary in worthless stock.
At least the good company I worked for was sold off to a different company who actually
        valued the product.
Welcome to the world of Tech

I can guess, The factory I was working for was called Globe Ins, INC
and we made insulation and soundproofing for appliances and cars/trucks.
Just about every car had at least one of our parts. Then Rieter bought it,
switched our parts to crappy injection molded designs, laid off half of the
workers, the rest they talked into retiring early. Classic business dismantling.
Then the building in 2000 caught fire and was burned to the ground even
though it was shut down and all the machines were sold off and no one
was allowed in. Funny thing was the ground under the building has so
much oil and resin contamination Rieter had to pay for a 50 foot deep
hole to be dug out where the building was and that dirt had to be incinerated.
The factory covered almost 1/4 mile square. So Karma stepped in 😀

To add insult to injury, my video card just died,
I’m here only because the on-board one still works.
I guess it’s back to Ebay for me.

I haven’t, but with the weather the way it is it could be the reason.
my front yard is a lake and the U-shaped driveway we have is a
creek that’s overflowed it’s banks. From the radar he’s stuck in the
middle of the mess. I suspect the jet-stream is starting to shift
because this is all coming from the north and running across Indiana
and heading through the south-eastern seaboard.
