I had every Trump book before he even threw his hat in. Which is why I supported him from the git-go.
      Fascinating reading.

Never went for Trumps’s books just not what I choose for mind candy. Got all the 1st balloon lists, not certain about who the “Douglass” or the “Lincoln” are. The more I learn about the “great emancipator” the less of a fan I become and just never felt inclined to read the “Desert Fox’s” work. Besides, one book I did read indicated that “Tank Warfare 101” was written by Patton and Eisenhour while stationed here in San Antonio at Ft Sam Housing using those tiny Renault WW1 tanks. If so then Rommell got HIS foundation from Old Blood And Guts!

Story 1: A Black “reverend” who’s a crook and a thief. Caman, Catman, CATMAN! Whatever are we going to do with you? Wherever did you find such a scrofulous and “obviously false and racist” meme? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Can’t take you anywhere! 😉

Story 2: Damn that delay between installments. When I first read panel 5, I could not for the life.of me figure out what happened. One moment we were in a nice quiet hospital; the next we’re out in the forest and Amillu is about to get all middle english on somebody. Had to go back a day to figure out what our storyteller had done. No problem. I was able to pick up.the thread and proceed. Still it made for a Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment! But great storytelling as always, Catman!

Really, we only have circumstantial evidence that Dultonne is ‘black’, and none whether O’Donnel has enough Irish in him to be ‘white’ (not that the Irish have always been ‘white’, any more than Cubans and Peninsulars are now). I sure was chuckling at the ‘healing hands’ line, though.

Got the archaic English “am called”, blinked at “Clan of Jefferson”. Interesting implication of cultures merging. Robert is expecting entertainment, not any hazard for his wife.

I was certain that you would be the one to pick up on the word play in the Reverend’s name.
Amillu is speaking to them in terms they can understand, in more ways than one.

Sorry, Jochi, but I gotta call ’em as I see ’em. Thinking of crooked race hustlers like Sharpton, Jackson and (O’Bozo’s) Wright.

The archaic “I hight” is related to the current German usage of “ich heisse” which might literally mean “I am called” but would normally be translated “My name is”. Lot of German still left in English. I suspect Amillu used the archaic form as part of a ritual, formal challenge. She was definitely playing for keeps.

I keep wanting to pronounce “I hight” as “ich heiße”. Haven’t spoken German in 40 years other than the bits I’ve taught my kids. I figure you’re right about the formalized ritual wording.

I’m glad to be writing about good people. The previous section was a bit rough on me.

Tad rough on all of us. Could’ve skipped it for me but your story to tell your way. Don’t expect “King Chaka” to respond all warm and fuzzy to the video. Hope the sheriff steps up to keep “his majesty” from harming the messenger. Although . . . wouldn’t be a bad way to trigger a regime change . . .

I had to tell it or what’s coming wouldn’t make any sense.
