over-seas to Korea, 3 heart attacks, a aorta valve replacement and even
returned to collage at the age of 72 for music. Sang in the Opera group they
had there, I still have a hard copy of the playbook. His name is Everett Miller,
and he will sorely be missed.

leaps and bounds, and now that the end of winter is close by, it’s

a place without convincing the locals to join first, and it may be
the first time off Earth. They came here spoiling for a fight, and
the Howlers hadn’t done anything to Terra, they were just reputed
to be the most powerful military in the Galactic Council. The Demons
had at least already invaded the Sol System. Or did I miss something?
You know how much the Empire values children,
and that slug of a whatsit just killed a child in an
off-hand manner. Katrina is NOT someone to mess
with, it’s a FAFO situation now.
I see destroying their fleet and declaring them a slave race as two
different things. I know they killed a child without informing her
people she had been caught spying. But like I said, the Empire came
here expecting a fight, seemingly wanting one, to have an excuse
to destroy a potential threat before it became a real one. I hope she
wasn’t ordered to get caught. I doubt that, and Teresa wouldn’t have.
And would have an accounting from anyone who did.
She’s using their own words and actions, it’s how they think.
“You are lesser beings, therefor you are our slaves” so she’s
doing it right back. Only she can back it up. After they accept
that, she can back it down. It’s how I dealt with bullies, prove
them wrong and then leave them alone.
It messes with their heads.
Katrina said the word “Master” in P2, as I said, they
believed the Empire as inferior, therefor slaves. She’s
just throwing back into his face, along with his body
back into his chair. So far the GC are slavers, meaning
there is an ungodly number that needs to be freed.
I had just started down a path thinking about Katrina treating her
her subordinates as chess pieces due to her lack of emotional
attachment. But that doesn’t really fit her actions up to Kat’s death,
whether Kat was spying or not. Would have been a very dark turn.
I hesitate to mention this because it may just be an artifact of the
resources PC had available at the time, and things that are just a
matter of the tools seems petty to point out, but assuming that is
not the case, I find it interesting that the military uniform for the
Howler fleet is nude but the civilians in the government wear clothes.
I wonder if there’s a cultural reason for it.
I also find it interesting that the Demon emperor and all the courtiers
are making the same assumption as the prince at to what the baby
will decide, or maybe it’s a cultural thing that babies are referred to
as female before they differentiate. Hey, it’s better than “it”.
That’s pretty much the same as my mother and 7 other
ladies insisting that my first-born was going to be a girl,
until my wife got huge and they all did a 180.
It is her choice. Cultural norm is first born=male, second born=female.
The fact that she has an older brother is also a biological influence,
keeping the genders balanced.
In essence, the more male influence around her as she matures, the more
likely she will mature as a female, and vice-versa.
Much of it is instinctual.

dad in the real world would have changed genders and
mated with his son… sick huh.
