Saw the cardiologist who did my cardiac catheterization
2 weeks ago and who put in a stent a week ago wed-
nesday. Apparently I’m actually in half way decent
health. Looks like my wife and kids,are going to have to
put up with me a while longer. He seems to think I’m a
good bet to make it into my 80s. He also said the sten-
osis of my aortic valve is right about on the edge of being
characterizable as “severe” instead of “moderate”. He
said I’m easily healthy enough to tolerate replacement of
the valve. Looks like I might see my youngest grandson
graduate high school. That’d be worth hanging around for.
Both my parents had that valve replaced the
only reason they dragged it out for my father
was they wanted to using a pig valve for him.
My mother had the mechanical one installed,
and complained she could hear it clicking
when she was trying to sleep, my father has
an enlarged heart and it took them a while
to farm one big enough. That was 10 years ago,
so I think you’ll be in great shape.
Interesting, a true blending of family and clan. And of course,
the newsie is looking for downsides.

order. I’m sure the usual accusations of being a traitor etc.
will come up now, or being “forced” to join or die. Propaganda

clan) have adopted the Oriental naming method
(family name first, then given name) vs the
Western naming (given name first, then family
name).
I’ve recognized a subtle shift in thinking
when using one vs the other, group/family
first vs individual/self first.

women have no such limitations.

the culture, if for no other reason to
