updates) so it’s got to be more than a year.
I’m sure getting a look at these refit ships and the tech
is a big plus too. Plus, having deep space FTL ships
could being about far more plot lines about deep space
exploration… And keep a better grip on protecting
members. Who knows, maybe even finding out who
made the WHs if it wasn’t the Elder Gods.

money and confused her… o.0
she gave back .25, and ran the transaction,

Similar experience. I gave the cashier a couple of extra
pennies to make the change an even nickel. She stood
there for several seconds alternately looking down at
her hand and up at me with the strangest expression on
her face. I finally explained what the pennies were for.
She said, “Oh. Okay” and gave me my change. This was
a good 20 years ago. These days we just use our ATM
card. No change needed. What a world!
Sooner or later the “multi-pass” concept will
come around, or just a bar-code tattoo’ed
on our wrists, that will allow any and all
transactions. I remember it wasn’t that long
ago that idea was brought up and the out-cry
of “IT’S THE MARK OF THE BEAST!”
circulated all over the news media.
It’s sad when a high school kid can’t do basic
math in their head, I had to get old before the
“loading swirlido” started to appear…
With the RF chips in bank cards we have,
it’s the same thing,
subway stations just have a card scanner
built into the turnbuckle so you can
swipe you debt/credit card over the X on
it and done.
It’s basically the same thing as
the security gates at stores,
the RF signal from the gate powers
the chip so it can be read.
I understood they used to BE copper, untill the costs
were 10 cents per-coin, then they went with copper
coated steel w/ brass. It’s about time, a penny is
a marketing ploy these days, you can’t buy a gum
ball with one anymore. Like buying gas, here it’s
$3.20, but it says 3.199… Sadly people fall for it.

to be getting back into 3D modelling. I was wondering
how you see the Empire’s FTL ships configured. Also
I still have the models I executed of the two sizes of
wormhole freighters. I can send you screen shots to
refresh your memory.
NP. It’s your universe. I have an idea for a cool
looking ring ship that I’m planning on trying to
build. I even plan to see if I can do some
aztecing (building up surface detail) on the new
model. if I can get it to work I may well go back
and add detail to the existing freighter models.
I am always trying to make the models more
“real” looking.

watching, it was at the factory I worked at and

insurance didn’t shoot up. The victim had to sue

time to fully recover. 3rd degree over 30%.
They had him work in the compression jacket
he had to wear to reduce the scars from rising up.
It was stupid and all hushed up on the news.
A thing I found endearing about Bobby “loose temper” Knight
was the way he treated sports reporters.
NOW there is a job that could be done by a computer –
any computer, say a TRS-80.
They always ask the same questions:
” You’ve just been beaten to a pulp and lost the title.
How do you feel?”
They write the same stories, with the same worn
adjectives and phrases.
Bad memories.
