Finally a bit of common sense from a member of the board.
Will Capt Klink be able to move product?
Will they have to wait for answers from the interstellar council?
Are they trying to pull a fast on on the buns?
Inquiring minds want to know.
I kinda doubt they’ll try to be cute, they stand
to lose too much if caught. They don’t have to
tell the counsel everything, just the basics. And
if the families join, then they will say nothing
and just defend themselves with the Imperials.
Should anyone get nosy.
That’s right, shut Allbrech down and off, he’s not helping anyone with
his lame bluster, no one in that room is paying attention to it, nor
were his cries of foul-play. Jeon-hoon at least understands that they
screwed themselves, now all they can do is see what Johnathan is
truly up to. I have a strong hunch, but I’ll wait it out.
I really want to believe those core guys are playing it straight,
but I’m still getting a creepy vibe from these guys. But, and to
be honest, the P’tera were doing that to me at first as well. I’m
glad when someone either turns over a new leaf, or was that way
all along and came out with it when they had back-up. These guys
have spent their entire lives screwing people and being screwed,
it’s a bit hard to believe they’d do a 180 that easily. It’s like a
Frengi suddenly giving free gifts to people. You just can’t trust them!
It’s too early in the morning to be coherent, but this is a must read: https://smallestminority.blogspot.com/2016/05/the-last-uberpost.html
(If you want to be as depressed as I am).
Yes, there are bad people in the Wolf World. Bad Catians… Bad Dogishuans,
bad of every species. But I don’t dwell on them, I make them serve my purpose,
and then they’re gone.
This comic, overall, is about good people. It’s my own escape, and I want my readers
to benefit from that, as well.
So if someone feels that there seem to be no bad whatevers, this is my answer.
There are, but I don’t dwell on them.
I need coffee. It’s too early.
Every good story requires an antagonist to oppose the protagonist.
What is not required is for the antagonist (bad guy) to dominate the
story. I do not believe that most people want to read stories where
bad guys dominate and good guys always lose. That’s too much like
real life and I, for one, read to escape real life. Evil can dominate,
even for most of the story, but ultimately good needs to triumph. PC
gives us stories with bad guys but they are seldom the center of the
story. They usually act off-screen. I like that. If I want to read about
the acts of bad people I only have to open up my news feed. I’d
rather read about basically good people overcoming the acts of
evil people. That’s why I come here every day. To read about good
people meeting and overcoming adversity. I like that PC has
people of all shapes, sizes and species.
Sorry PC, I wasn’t implying they were bad, just that
their kind has done bad things to good people. Like
in RL, trust is earned. If this is a redemption story
for these people, I don’t see anything wrong with it.
You are doing great. You need balance, good and bad.
Some of the bad are past being bad, just evil.
They always get it in the end, just never soon enough.
Keep on keeping on. Damn should put that in a song.
I have a weird question PC; While Humans smell weird to Catians,
and sex between Humans and Catians is illegal, what happens if
A Catian and a Terran fall in love?
Sex between species is not illegal. That was the official policy of the
Navy back when many were former or freed slaves who might not have
understood that they were free to say “no” to any human’s request.
As far as “falling in love” goes, the Cats don’t have that concept,
at least, not for themselves. Their love does not have a physical
component, they’re just not wired that way.
As an example, while Jochi and Miral have a kitten together, it is
not a so-called “love child”, and they were not in an exclusive
relationship outside of the sex, because Miral wanted Jochi’s child
and Jochi wanted Miral to bear his child.
But the both need their clans too much to leave.
When Miral goes to sleep, she might nuzzle up to any other Cat that
has a spot that looks particularly warm and comfortable, and there
may be a different Cat with her when she wakes up.
Hence Carl’s description of his guest room for his Cat visitors
as having lots of platforms and pillows.
Navy crew quarters are quite… interesting. The concept of separation
of the ranks or chain-of-command went right out the porthole as soon
as Cats joined up and ignored them. The regs are now tailored by
species, so they still apply to Terrans because of the sexual component.
So, a Cat and a Terran can’t fall in love, the closest they could come
would be something like a Marine scout team, or Chira and Jonathan.
I’m glad you asked, I had to really contemplate interspecies relationships
in an interstellar society. Helped me ward off Alzheimer’s for another day.
Thank you. Anything that makes me think proves that I still can!
I do wonder though, with the relationship that Marise and Kima have
now, would this become more common in the future? Not all species
have genetic requirements like the P’tero or the dogs, where mate/
family/packs are needed for mental and physical health, but are
more like human/terran in relationships. Like the Buns, they want
their families, but can get by with their mates and\or friends.
I kinda thought it was obvious, fancy bourbon in the afternoon?
Everyone else was drinking wine or beer. Plus he just had to
have a slightly bigger AND purple chair while everyone else had
the same brown leather. Allbrech is your classic narcissist,
everything is about him and he can dictate what everyone says
and does. Sadly he doesn’t have the brain power left to back it up.
I object to your use of “lib-tard” b/c her is not a liberal. and
it is an attempt to irritate those of us that are.
He is a narcissist as Scarsdale pointed out. He is incapable
of being a liberal, a conservative, or anything in between.
He will say or do ANYTHING that he thinks is to his
personal advantage at each moment. He will use a liberal,
a conservative, a religious, or any other type of
argument/viewpoint that will be to HIS advantage.
This is why the personnality discotdered people
can be so dangerous.
I was going to say something, but I’d rather
let my readers respond if they wish.
He’s not a classic liberal, no. But he has
all of the hallmarks of the modern Leftist
that we’ve all come to know and love.
I thought the buttons were just leather covered on the other chairs, but
still, the difference is clear, he thought he was the god of his domain and
Johnathan is calling in the marker on it! I wouldn’t be surprised if Allbrech
didn’t talk that kid into pulling that just to get rid of Johnathan, and it’s
back-fire big time! Then again, that’s giving that ass-clown to much credit.
In my opinion Walker will probably only fire David and Chelsea.
Everyone else has at least the courtesy to wait.
He owns the school and most of them forgot that.
Jeon-hoon has the best chance to survive.
Ms Lizzard is good to work and the other two are newer.

“Captain” Klink? Shouldn’t it be “Colonel”? (Or “Oberst”)
In the previous page he was Capt Flink,
but it’s okay as long as he is not a Klinker.
That even hurt me and I said it.
Owwiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie! My braaaaaaaaain hurts…..
heh.
my bad,, it is Flink.. watched to much Hogan’s Heros
Crud, I don’t know what I wrote that triggered it, filter got me again 🙁

Best example of that starts at http://thegentlewolf.net/comic/tgw-352/
How the Legion teams bonded. Or how Peewee was.

It will become more common with the Bunnies, but not very often.
Just a matter of taste, and Marise is weird, anyway.
If David has had a long habit of killing a bottle every meeting,
no wonder “his” council has made so many bad decisions :{
I was wondering if anyone would notice.
I kinda thought it was obvious, fancy bourbon in the afternoon?

David needs another bottle. This one isn’t doing him any good
His mouth is on the road and his brain is still in the garage.
purple is a royal color. and look at the
button / tacks,. his is gold, others are
antique brass
I thought the buttons were just leather covered on the other chairs, but

Those two do seem to be the problem,
the rest just were getting dragged along.
No wonder that Johnathan told Vashti
there was no board for the school.
