Okay I was right. It was before the fall. Somehow I doubt that principle
is working in any field within a mile of children. I wouldn’t let someone
like that sweep floors in a school much less run one.
Yeaaaaah….. I think If that type of person was running a high
school like that, they would have “an unfortunate accident” in
their shower… alone… in the middle of the night… with
several feral cats that somehow got in… During the summer.
I’m surprised Johnathan didn’t have a similar conversation
(that he had with that kid) with that school’s principle
when that conversation got started.
It’s not far wrong, my youngest when he was in grade school,
was badly beaten by ALL the bullies at his school, and my
son was suspended for fighting. Lets just say I was almost
arrested when I came back from the hospital with him!!!
Ah, the cold, hard truth. Stings a bit eh? Maybe chubby-chunkous
will have a change of heart now? Or at least a fatter wallet…
I’m sure the rest will want that too, once they figure it out.

If anyone, student, principal, or admin, were to pull that kind
of “it’s your fault for defending yourself” crap, there would be
repercussions. Names taken. Intel gathered. Recon.
Then in the dead and dark of night….. Things Would Happen.
As the saying goes, “the first one is expensive. after that,
the rest are free”.
The sad thing is, the first time that those rules were
obeyed and it caused someone to die it would be plastered
all over the news in RL. Since no one wants to die,
they take the right action and are punished for it.
Question for the Catman. Are there public schools in Jericho these days?
I know Barnwell is a private school and it isn’t cheap to attend. But what
about the students whose parents cannot afford to pay Barnwell tuition?
Also, Barnwell cannot be big enough to hold all school-aged children in
Jericho. Are there public schools? How are they funded? IIRC taxes are
damned near a thing of the past – basically being sales/use taxes. How
would you fund schools under a system such as exists in Jericho these
days? For the record, while I don’t always like how the nearest school
district spends my money, I don’t (really) mind all that much paying for
other people’s children’s education. I look at it as paying it forward for
all the taxes spent upon my public school education.
Public schools are a failure in the USA,
too much politics and bad choices,
and government funding SUX! Just keep
in mind “T.A.N.S.T.A.A.F.L.” says a lot.
The school thing sounds strange. In my country such things do not happen as frequently as in USA but it happens. We do not have any security at schools…
Self defense is everybody’s right. Of course there will be an investigation for there was a threat and for the answer was appropriate. There is an investigation for every round a policeman fires in duty.
Some years ago a swat team was trying to arrest a hells angel at 3am in his appartment over his bakery. He woke up from some noise at his entrance, got no answer but more noise and shot. Killed a police officer by hitting his neck. Then they said they are police, he dropped his gun and got arrested. After some months in investigative custody and trial and act of appeal he could go home free. The reason was self defense and him owning a gun was justified by some threats from another bike gang the bandidos.
For such shooting events at schools and such there is a new policy in place. Before the first of those events the patrolman (police officer) who came upon such an attack was supposed to call the swat team to handle the situation. After it became obvious that at such occasions the shooter will continue until he/she runs out of ammo it is new policy that any policeman is supposed to go in and take the shooter out if possible.

Hmmm… Well, I explained taxes as part of a story,
I guess I can do the same for schools.
