Now, now. The “no modern communications” rule is for the Hunters in
the event, not for the security detail defending the hunting zone.
And I’m betting the Admiral is only allowed to skirt that rule because
she is now too injured to take part in the hunt any more and therefore
is no longer part of the event.
These Cats like to keep their traditions pure.
I think it’s more like he wants out before the Catians can do “anything” to them which I think it’s too late for that.
He’s desperate to report what they found so far which isn’t the whole story but the Admiral is a panicy Horn so of
course he wants to cut and run away from the unexpected scary cats lol.
True they are following their traditions and in doing so it delays the fleet from leaving before the cats are ready so
win-win! Actually since there is a armed and mobile backup and there are military leaders on the hunt they could
pull them out fast if needed but the Horns don’t need to know that…
AW now they are just making friends! And bonding does loosen the tongue a bit he he he…
It does work in both ways so I’m sure they are under orders to watch what and how they
“bond” and I’m sure the Admiral will be questioning them on their return so yeah…
Besides cats do love to play with their prey 😉
Unless she quoted a price per room, office or floor, I’m surprised
he likes it when it will actually not cover the whole building. She
may be underpricing herself. Or he may be feeling generous.
On the other hand, if it were a per-unit price, she may have been
discounting for volume, and she may have to raise the price if
she doesn’t get the whole building.
i asked a mom,, who had that type of business.. and as “Bonded” she
offered several deals after she looked the job over,. usually went
mid range on pricing. quite a few took her pricing, no questions
asked,, cuz if you lowest bidder , you get what you pay for!
Unless you’re an admiral fishing for info. 😛
Was thinking along.those same lines myself.

“But we don’t keep track of our people”
A bit of a dig at the Core’s assumed bureaucratic Big Brother’ness?
The visitors just happened to arrive in time for the @12 year Nhauga Hunt?
Or might someone have fudged that schedule a little bit :}
heh… “12 to 15 years” ,, intentional fudged schedule..
how rude of them Nhauga’s to not over expand on a
schedule.
I can’t help it, especially since #3 is so relevant to a recent story:

Pure gold, funny as hell.
LMBO you got that right!
