I see they are having a Spirited discussion in panel three… and the drunk is about to put in his two cents.
That is an Interesting set of paintings on the wall…. reminiscent of the painting from The War Doctor (Sir Jonathan Hurt / Doctor Who)
‘We’ve lost this war.’ Yes? The Empire has locked down their fleet and is waging a propaganda war- and a really Good one at that- but that doesn’t mean you don’t have die-hards ready to attempt something.
Eh, it happens… Out of curiosity,we you using Power or Daz3d for your webcomic?
Also, maybe it’s me or the background for the page, but a lot of the images seem to be too dark some times… Don’t get me wrong, but it does make it hard to see the images that you’ve spent time setting up, which is a shame..
I’m using DAZ Studio, with many items from Renderosity and other places.
As for the darkness, can you brighten your monitor? They don’t appear too dark to me, and other sites look good.
Give me a page that you think is too dark, please.
Does anyone else have this problem? If so, I can brighten them up.
Hmmm, thought: the drunk is possibly about to start something. And the Knight is nearby…. IF that is where you are taking this, I / Kajm would / will be very curious to see how the Knight handles the situation.
*scrolls back up, sees second frame* 0.0 DAMN, that is a thin blouse the waitress is wearing.
Brother’s eyes are on her face in panel 1, not sure they are in panel 2. And her posture seems to imply she is trying to impress, and it’s not for a tip. Must find him attractive.
Just once, I’d like to see someone wake up drunk and not be an obnoxious pain in the butt… It does happen in sap life, but ha been a trope for way too long…
I foreshadowed this starting with TGW-518.
This guy was just as obnoxious when he was sober.
You’re right, I was a bouncer for a while, and ran into many happy drunks.
I preferred the obnoxious ones, it’s hard to bounce one when he’s hanging onto you claiming that you’re his new best friend.
Females were the worst, though. Especially the female mean drunks.
The absolute worst were the tiny, cute, female, mean drunks.
I’d say there’s a fair chance he was fired by his bosses in Hawaii, for offending the trade partner they were courting.
12 year old Scotch is probably ridiculously expensive in Jerico right now unless trade with whatever is left of Scotland has resumed. BTW I know a lot more about Clan Maclean of Duart now than I did, and a couple of the distilleries on Duart island. Thanks for that, PeterCat. Is there a story behind your choice of that label?
They’ve lost a war against the Empire, not the native Catians. An enemy they didn’t know existed, who executed a sneak attack in a logistics situation that practically guarantees victory for whoever strikes first with sufficient power. Enormously powerful mines with chemical or mechanical fuses thrown through a wormhole is the only thing I have come up with so far that might break a blockade on the other side, since the transit shuts down electronics and nervous systems. And that is terribly imprecise and non-selective.
A governing entity that would make scapegoats of the commanding officers, much less the common soldiers, in this circumstance are way too focused on self to deserve to govern or to keep the good will of the citizenry. If unedited word of this becomes common knowledge on Lamia, there could be a revolution that could lead to another world in the Empire.
He reminds me of Mr Navalny. Brave to go home, a shame he is dead now. Lately many people fall out of windows, drink the wrong tea or crash with their planes in that country.

?so umm.?? why did you change the back ground in panel 7.?? .. it’s plain white in the other 2…
upon closer look at the wall, it looks like part of Another Scene from somewhere.
I made the wall invisible so that I could use the camera to make image 6, and forgot to correct it until image 8.

Patience, Gary. Patience.
I will tell you that I had a lot of fun creating next weeks pages. Both stories.
Brother’s eyes are on her face in panel 1, not sure they are in panel 2. And her posture seems to imply she is trying to impress, and it’s not for a tip. Must find him attractive.
Catman,
Did you get my emails about the Miral figure?
Yep. Will reply soon.

So that’s flower-shirt boy? If so, he’s really had a downhill run.
I’d say there’s a fair chance he was fired by his bosses in Hawaii, for offending the trade partner they were courting.

I just noticed, sure looks like the same bottle by Walker’s elbow. Maybe that’s the only Scotch available in Jerico at present?
No story, MaClean is the name of the artist who made the bottle for 3D art over at DAZ.
