oh this going to end badly.!!!.. already has the attention of the Knight, his Squire an the Wanderer.. i think the Teacher is politely ignoring the drunken mess..
My time for commenting is limited right now. My wife is finally free of a three-month hospital stay, but requires a lot of help right now, and I’m still holding down a job on top of it. But I try to keep up with the voting.
Why would I crow when I get lucky with a guess? Besides, I had a wrong guess there, too. (I am surprised by the dearth of reactionaries, or if you prefer die-hard loyalists.) This tack is entirely in keeping with the general theme of the story.
I’d have bet it was the guy’s elbow that gave, not his wrist. He’s lucky as heck, if he’s smart enough to recognize it. Otherwise, yeah, he could get VERY unlucky very quickly. Have we seen this mother and daughter before?
It was his elbow, but I didn’t have a full-arm cast to put on him. No, the mother and daughter are just for this story line.
There are some reactionaries, I just haven’t given them a part in the story. Yet.
*finds out Reality* ‘YOU’RE REAL!?!’
*bolts out the front door- without opening it.*
As to the other guy…. where Have we seen him before?
Two wives. Hm. The Dragon Empire needs more ‘Breathing Room.’ 😉
Wait… he wasn’t wearing a t-shirt last time, was he?
The boy is not wearing a t-shirt, Gary. He’s wearing a tank top, AKA a “muscle” shirt or infamously a “beater” (for “wife beater”).
And, he’s that a-hole Hawaiian…

And the Wanderer is a good ol’ boy from Traders Hill, Georgia.
I’m surprised we haven’t heard from reader Jochi, who got it right in his comment on TGW-550.
‘Course, he doesn’t crow.
