panel 2… Do You really want that bloodied nose.?
how did that line go…?
“December 7th 1941, is a day that will live in
Infamy!”.!
you think you will fair better..? “This time?”
Yeah, I had hopes, but that line “I have diplomatic immunity!”
sealed his fate. And proves once again that stupid never
learns. diplomatic immunity is dependent on what your
government and theirs say, it’s not a free pass. When you
pulled that, you were burnt toast! Ready for the scraping?
Here, they can use my butter knife.
Oh, I was right! A fight between them will shut up
that old hag, more so since she has no IDEA just
how powerful the Empire is. Bloody is right!
It wouldn’t take more than a day to turn their
military bases to dust.
Welp, that settles it, stupid he is, and will learn
what stupid gets. I had hopes, but for naught.
Svetlana, just wait until you meet the spider folk,
You’ll love ’em! That is, once you stop
screaming… 😉
My car got robbed late last night or early this morning. About 04:30
our doorbell rang. It was a neighbor telling me that the liftgate on
my 2013 Highlander was wide open. Apparently I had forgotten to lock
the car doors when we made a shopping run Thursday afternoon. They
were smart enough to figure out to unlatch the scooter lift. They
didn’t take our 2 extra large Walmart reusable shopping bags or the
two insulated bags but they pretty much cleaned us out otherwise!
They took my nice power hydraulic jack and impact wrench kit along
with a nice road-side tool kit with warning reflectors. That was all
stored in the very back. They also got in the passenger side front
door and took a little GPS unit I don’t use any more. They must not
have been interested in burglarizing the house because all they
would have had to do was use the remote on the driver’s side. {sigh}
I just feel so violated. That is the 2nd time my car has been
burglarized since we built the house in 97. I guess that’ll teach me
to always lock the car up when I come home.
for me it a few years ago… and it was the neighbor kid (17)…
because of work,, all my tools are marked. so 3 days later kid
is working on his car (street racer) with my plainly marked tools,
i called the cops and they said “So”…. so i was arrested for
beating up the neighbor…
I feel for you Bill, it’s damned frustrating for sure! The
major town my wife and were living in before we moved
here was bad for that, I forgot to lock the passenger
door on the tired car we had and someone got in, emptied
the change I had in the cup holder, and stole a $5 car
charger for the cell phone. Pointless.
Cracks me up, these punks they are SO convinced they are
bad ass, while I grew up in/near one of thee WORST cities
in the nation, they get white faced when I mention it.
Panel 5 – I think this is the first time Svetlana has been identified
as a minor. As if rape alone isn’t bad enough, he did it to a child!
Panels 1 & 2 – Didn’t you guys learn anything from WWII? Also,
are you totally ignorant of what happened in Romania during the
attempted coup, and more recently to the Grand Poofty, et al? Do
you really think the Wolf Empire couldn’t wipe you from the face of
the earth if they wanted to go scorched earth on your asses?
Panel 4 – I’ll admit, I have no idea what PC has up his sleeves on
this one.
Re the “promise” in P2: Yeah, lady, we all know how that worked
out in the 1940’s! When I was stationed in Japan ’79 – ’82 we
got translations of articles in Japanese newspapers that referred
to the U.S. or our troops stationed there. In ’81 we had a change
of command ceremony for the commander of 5th Air Force and
all U.U. forces in Japan. The troops formed up in class As (the
Dark blue blouse with light blue shirt and strato blue tie) on the
ramp. It was 120° on that ramp. Anyhow there were 3 generals
involved – outgoing 1star, incoming 1 star and presiding 2
star. Generals love to talk. There we were in those hot uniforms
in close interval ranks in 120° high humidity and NO breeze!
(Tokyo can be stifling at times.) All totalled 3 dozen troops
passed out (including yours truly) with over a dozen requiring
hospitalization for heat stroke! A few days later the digest of
Japanese papers had a piece that mentioned “a certain
weakness in American troops”. I wanted to send a letter to the
editor of that paper to say something like, “Yeah! Our troops
are so ‘weak’ that there is a U.S. Army Garrison Honshu and
NOT an Imperial Army Garrison San Francisco!” I wanted to
but didn’t.
I feel it is common for leaders to get cocky and think
they can’t be beaten, so they get prideful and don’t
think things through as they once did, add in the fact
they are safe behind the lines, rather than in the thick
of it, they get careless. Instead of thinking “what if
they do this” they’ll think “their not as smart as me,
they’ll never think of that!” And then bad things
happen.
I know Amilu is likely there supporting her spouses, but she is also
a reminder that “all of Asia” will never be Japanese without war with
the Empire since Nepal and at least a sizeable chunk of the Indian
subcontinent is part of the Wolf Empire.
Amillu is the military attaché Madea referred
to in the previous page.
To stall for time as Miral requested,
she just went into the hall to sit and wait.
The rape took place in the Ambassador’s aides “quarters”. Wasn’t
that within the Embassy? That would make it Imperial territory and
Imperial jurisdiction, Imperial law. Claiming diplomatic immunity
is stupid. Cooperation with the Russians is all to the good, it’s a
Russian citizen, but the Empire doesn’t tolerate rape, at all.
President Elect Toxic Deplorable Racist SAH Neanderthal B Woodman Domestic Violent Extremist SuperStraight
I still say that there’s more to this Jeffery/Svetlana debacle than PC is telling us
(for now).
The way I’m reading this (from the POV of one who was stationed in W Germany in the late 70s
and was “trained” in the wiles of WWII Communist espionage).
Lenore “arrested” Jeffery, not for crimes committed, but to save him from a “honey pot” trap
and being “turned” into a Russian agent. (makes me wonder what access Jeffery had to Imperial
Embassy classified material?). Also to set up a “sting” against Svetlana without tipping Imperial plans
to the Russians.
SO far, we haven’t yet heard Jeffery’s side of the story.
I’m thinking that he had NO idea to Svetlana’s real age (phony ID).
Svetlana drugged herself (known dosage and effects so as to show on a tox screen, but not interfere
with personal activities. Maybe she also drugged Jeffery? Does he have any REAL memories of that
night? Or just “memories” “implanted/suggested/coerced” from him by his interrogators?
The woman in TGW 1340 P7 & P8 is Svetlana’s “handler”, and was about to become Jeffery’s “handler”,
“we have the goods on you, now work for us, or else….”
I hate to admit it but I think you
countered every one of my arguments.
This is in fact possible.
Dunno if it’s what PC has planned,
but it’s possible.
That was along the lines of what I was thinking, not everything
is “cut and dried” like that, and I know how PC likes to add the
twist at the last minute! For all we know, the Aid may have been
in on it from the start. Let her think she accomplished her task
and get careless. She may have drugged herself when about to
leave so she’d have it in her system.

“December 7th 1941, is a day that will live in

Huh. I called back last Saturday. The boy was guilty!

Traditionally, the greatest “weakness” of soldiers
in any military has been their leadership.
I feel it is common for leaders to get cocky and think
they can’t be beaten, so they get prideful and don’t
think things through as they once did, add in the fact

Panel 2, the old guy next to Robert is looking mad,
but the old gal next to him is smiling! A clue!
Things are afoot there too.
Panel 2, gal is pissed off, old guy seems a bit pleased.
They switch facial expressions when Miral bursts in and
makes her demand.

Yep. I can vouch for this –
I live near a north-south interstate.

Panel 3 – Is Amillu with child?
Or merely leaning back in the
chair at an odd angle?
Yes.
