Panel 8 – He assumed from the “NYET” in the previous episode
that they’re Russians and have no jurisdiction. However, it
implies that he did, in fact, do something wrong, and he knows
it. Also, Commander Villines would not be arresting him unless
they knew, absolutely, unequivocally, that he was guilty. Too
much at stake between the Wolf Empire and Russia to not
know for sure.
What numbnuts failed to understand is that foreign LEOs have
as much jurisdiction as the host jurisdiction allows. In this case,
since it is a joint op they have full jurisdiction. Besides it is
stupid to argue jurisdiction when you’re up against the wall and
being handcuffed. That’s why a good lawyer will always tell you
if they want to arrest you LET THEM! I don’t know about other
states but in Texas law resisting arrest is still a crime even if the
reason for the arrest is totally bogus. And it kind of has to be that
way for everyone’s safety.
“LET THEM” = Russian LEO allow up to deadly force,
IF you are a threat, run, and resist arrest…
so,, no broken arm (when jeff tried to grab her)
must have been Lenor’s doing… “Try not to hurt
him. to much!”
Except I wasn’t talking about Russian LEOs. I was relating what
a real-life, American lawyer would suggest. For the record I never
got “my phone call”. I don’t even know how my wife was informed
that I had been arrested. Oh, and I had a couple of bruises, too.
A couple of the COs got a tad ” forceful. Unfortunately back then
I didn’t have enough of a case to get a lawyer interested.
There are good cops and bad cops… Fortunately for me,
I’ve been wise enough to cooperate with the cops on any
situations I’ve been in. Keeps me from being a suspect,
and makes certain they don’t go digging for something
else to charge you with.
Not that I’d EVER do anything illegal, but…
There are circumstances where certain items in my possession
MIGHT have aroused some uncomfortable questions,
which would have been somewhat difficult to answer…
That’s not necessarily true…
It could be part of a larger sting
operation that they have going on.
Could be something going on in the
background that we are unaware of?
Ah so Miral found out something? I hope she’s not late!
Ah well, I had hoped this guy wasn’t stupid, but oh well!
May his tenders be tenderized!
May his chestnuts be roasted!
May he wake up in a hog pen naked with a sore ass and
15 lonely Bores with that look of bliss!
Merry Christmas, all! I’m looking forward to a nice spiral slice
ham tomorrow and watching my youngest grandchildren
open their presents. Note: leftover ham works great to flavor
a big pot of red (okay pinto) beans.
Merry Christmas, all.
Got my annual Christmas pizza in the oven
(Ordinary triple meat extra cheese).
This time, I am determined to eat it on
Christmas day. For the first time.
Seems you were right, Sam.
Seasons greetings to y’all.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of you.
Stay safe for more to come from the comic master PC.
Cat on a mission!
Do not obstruct, interrupt,
distract, or delay.
The woman in the background (P7-P8),
decided she had pressing business
elsewhere.
Yup. Chose the path of wisdom, she did.
But why do I get the feeling that she,
(with her briefcase) might have had something
important to add to the equation?

Yep. Until it is all resolved,
this is a combined Russian-Imperial operation.
With full transparency and witness from both.

Times may have changed, but in my case,
I wasn’t given the option to call anyone.
They just wanted a feather in their cap at
my expense.
