You’re fine. We understand your feeling on the matter.
You could always do a “what came after” plot later on.
There are quite a few stories you could revisit too,
Zeeka, Zima, even Gwen, just to name a few. browse
through the chapter titles until something grabs you.
Someone once said that creativity is 10% inspiration,
90% perspiration.
My son picked up his 5/7 rock, I started to worry
because he kept flipping between joy and tears…
It’s a NICE gun, fluted barrel, vented slide, and
he got 10 mags to go with it! I asked if he was going
to visit a certain group, he just grinned… it even came
with a Velcro belt with a spot for a holster on one side
and a duel mag pouches on the other.
5/7 Rock? A Rock Island? Ahh. No. A 5.7 made by PSA called the
“Rock”. Ten mags, eh? Looking it up, that’s pretty affordable.
Still, I have enough calibers. I really don’t need any more.
No, really, I can quit anytime.
All in all he said it ran him over $600, brand new.
I racked it, sighted down the iron sights, even
with my crappy fingers I think I could fire it. The
9mm I have is a woman’s purse gun, I can use it
without jerking my thumb out of joint. I use
hydro-shock ammo. The 5.7? I don’t know…
5.7.. think 22 ultra magnum, or 5.56 (.223) light.!
when mom (70y) fired the P-90 “one handed” on
Full Auto, she put about all 50 rounds on the spot
she was aiming for.!! she never fired it before,,
she really don’t know guns…
The slug is pretty much the same as a 9mm, but
the shell is a bit more than half the length of a .223,
I’ve fired his .223, didn’t jerk my shoulder out! 🙂
He’s going to the range next weekend, sadly we
had to stop using ours since someone bought the
land next to ours and the risk of a round hitting
their house is too high. Some rich guy built a $10 mil
house and a truck barn… I wish I was kidding 🙁
so,, looking around, unless you find a “Really good deal.”
the Rock, mags (x10), and ammo to fill mags.
is gonna be about $820….
the range near me has that deal for $1135, out the door.!!
How about a revisit to the story about Miral’s graphic novels?
There’s many story lines that have a bit of loose ends. Not
sudden stops, just open endings. Like Miral’s, or Samuel’s.
Sometimes the story writes itself and gets away with it’s creator.
I loved the way the story went (and I say that as a left leaning
European) so I am a bit bummed you need to cut it short,
but I understand. Just do what you do best and make a good story.
Ah, Monday will be another eight-panel page.
Maybe Wednesday I’ll continue the story in the bottom four,
and start on good ol’ Standoaf and the Grand Admiral in the
top four again.
That’s my preferred format anyway, two stories at once…
It’s better that way I feel, you can tell stories that may
or may not cross, and you can do a flash back while
maintaining the primary story. That format has been
tried on TV, never works well. Only time I think it did
was with “Robit Chicken” but that was more like a
“short attention-span theater” kind of thing…
With dolls and clay… And an expensive camera.
PC… You REALLY don’t want to know what i want to see…
It would either be something showing a lot of female skin,
Or the inside of an O’Neill colony tube… Maybe both..
Well, judging from the vote numbers over the last week or so,
the current story must be pretty popular. So I’ll continue telling it.
We’ve never stayed so high for this long before – normally,
TGW’s kicked down to 6 or 7 by noon the first day. Thank you all.
Solidly in #2 as of just now, I never doubted it!
I expected as much was going to happen, many people
would like to see the story line you are telling to come
to pass, myself included.
You tell compelling, thoughtful stories on your page,
and even if few comment, they are watching and
reading them! Even if they aren’t real, it’s hard not to
hope that one day they will be 🙂
I agree with most who’ve already spoken. Nothing wrong with taking
a “mental health” break for yourself. Nothing wrong with dropping a
story you are no longer enjoying or that headed in a direction you
don’t want to go. Nothing wrong with just letting it rest and coming
back to it later. We enjoy what you do and want you to (be able to)
keep doing it.
Please do what you have to do,
to be able to stay healthy mentally and physically.
If you are happy we are happy.
We really do appreciate your efforts.
Maybe I’ll devote a little time this weekend
by coming up with some more vote incentives.
What would you all like to see?
how about another cast page..? you have the “WolfPack”,
and the founding.. you could list the legion, or the navy,
or the marines… just saying…

“The slug is pretty much the same as a 9mm”
Say what? 5.7mm = 0.22441″. 9mm = 0.35433″.
I realize CPA means Can’t Pass Arithmetic to some
people, but in no universe I’ve ever been to does
5.7 = 9.0.

I’m a little bummed (always look forward to new installments)£
but I’ll get over it. You do you.
What would I like to see? Hmmm…
(a slender woman’s hand clamps over my mouth)
HUMMMM HMMMM!
You’re not the first story teller to abandon a story line that he
did not like where it was going. Mark Twain did the same thing.

Yeah, I ran into that when I was writing short stories,
or worse yet you write yourself into a corner you can’t
get out of.

It’s your story: tell it in the way that suits you best Chances are,
we’ll all enjoy it regardless of what you choose to share with us.
PC… You REALLY don’t want to know what i want to see…
It would either be something showing a lot of female skin,
Or the inside of an O’Neill colony tube… Maybe both..
Heh, same thing I was going to say until my wife shut me up.
OW damn it woman! 🙂

Which goes to show just how much the “cheat”
may have been costing you, and others.
Agreed. That or TWC’s popularity itself just nosedived.

Day 4 and we’re still at #2.
