Diane looks a little less shell shocked.
Cap’t Hrrn’tn i really smooth.
Is the Queen smart enough to see through him?
Will she let him off if she does.
Very likely, she is smart as well.
I’d expect so, Teresa told them everything they needed to know,
and handed both of them over to the 2 that helped them out of
there.
I think it wouldn’t matter to the Queen much, they did the right
thing the right way, covering their tails in the process. But it
will make a good bar story down the road 😉
I got it, and it’s beautiful. Can you make it an OD
green and make the backgrounds of the insignia match?
That transparent background makes the surface
underneath transparent when I apply it.
Import it into Studio at 100% and apply the insignia,
you’ll see what I mean.
But yeah, the model itself is perfect.
I just got some bad news friends, my youngest son was just diagnosed
with Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency, the same genetic issue my wife
has. It causes the lungs to lose flexibility, pretty much like goat
skin leather, rather than like foam rubber. He’s only 33. I’m hoping
since it was caught early they can extend his time before he has to
use oxy full time like my wife does. He’s been fighting shortness of
breath, to the point I can out-walk him with out having to stop.
A quick read seems you are right: the sooner found the better the prognosis.
Hope treatment goes well and he has the grit for sticking to the behavior
requirements.
He had that thought if he could handle it, I told him I know him, and I feel that
if I could not only survive that car accident and beat the odds with cancer twice,
I have little doubt he will win. He just has to learn how to adjust.
Damn! Just damn! Sorry to hear. I did a quick read. Is it just
his lungs? Sources said it could also involve the liver. I hope
his liver is not involved. Lungs are bad enough but liver can
Make you downright UNcomfortable! Keep us posted.
He’s going to need a series of tests to determine the extent of the damage.
He’s been using an rescue inhaler but that is a quick-fix, not treatment. He’ll
need an MRI/CT scan, blood tests from both veins and artery, and a treadmill
and/or breathing test. Plus with my family history of heart-attack/stroke, he’ll
have to keep a close eye on his O2 levels, that can trigger an attack as sure
as a blockage. It took 8 weeks for my wife to go through all that.
It’s a recessive gene, like Dow syndrome or or the one that causes dwarfism,
it can skip a few generations and my wife’s Pulmonary doctor said it strikes
women more often than men. We did warn our sons as soon as we knew about
my wife’s problem, but neither took is seriously and didn’t get checked. So far
my wife’s liver is ok, but they are watching it. Sadly he is still smoking but but
knows he has to quit ASAP. Poor kid broke down and cried with us for a bit
when he told us, and I explained things the best I could and that he is NOT
in the same stage of the disease as his mom. An easy test and it’s what ran
up the red flag for her doctor is that in the later stages, it’s not about getting
air in, but getting it back out. When my wife exhales, she has to tighten up
her belly likes she’s blowing up a balloon. I did a simple test for it by holding
my hand to my son’s belly and told him to relax and just breathe. He passed
that easily. Normal CO2 levels are between 25% and 30% and hers are 51%.
They take fresh blood from an artery to test that, not a vein like most blood
tests do. I suspect for now he just has asthma, treatable with Breo or Incurse.
Once you reach the max amount of O2 that a machine can provide, it’ll take
a ventilator to keep her going, since she refuses a transplant. I doubt my
son will if it comes to that.
I should add that because of this situation and my wife getting worse,
we’ve decided that we need to get into a place for all 3 of us, my son
is a low-level autistic and has a hard time learning new things (it’s why
he still lives with us) we’re going to help him buy a place and live with
him at least until we pass away. So if I drop off the planet for a bit, I
will be back 🙂

Not sure I understand what you’re referring to. I’ll
email for clarification. But later. I just got up.

Thanks all, I’ll pass it on to him.
