That still says that the Dragonflies are known to the marines. I know
the navy does to a degree but they are hardly common knowledge.
This still says “deep recon” to me but PC has snuck in stuff before 😉
Sometimes falling asleep while talking has benefits everyone is relaxed
and aren’t being on the defensive. I’m sure the Queen will ask a few
things of the younglings in private as well. Hopefully Taritha can get
a better understanding of the P’tera before Flame and Smoke arrive
it may stoke up resentment especially Flame. I’m sure Taritha and
Smoke can assure the Queen and her guard of things but it’ll take time,
mostly to understand the differences the old Humans and Terrans.
Well teleporting and telepathy uses a LOT of energy and they do it
all the time at the speed of thought so yeah major energy drains
there. Plus all the times Dagger was begging for nuts etc… All
high protein sources Like when Teresa uses her healing ability
or when Kathy was killing off those red-neck pieces of filth.
I am kind of curious as to interpersonal relationships post WW3.
While monogamous relationships seem to be the norm, I kind of get
the feeling that there are some polyamorous relationships that have
formed even amongst the more conservative populations.
Amongst the Catians, this really wouldn’t surprise me much, as they
tend to form clans, and humans? Given half a chance, yeah, we tend
to “spread the love” as it were.
Prior to liberating the cats there was a huge gap between men and woman in the
Empire, mainly due to the loss of life was much higher in the male population, which
is typical in a war setting. PC had stated there was 20,000 more women than men
in the Empire. Adding 8000 of the post-war troops from Catia no doubt helped but
still a huge gap. I have little doubt something similar would happen in a RL situation.
(Cue in the bro’s hur… hur…. hur…)
Or the political marriages like Robert’s situation. But in that case he and his current
wife set rules and limits on it I’m sure the same thing will happen in other’s to avoid
the most common issues. One man building a “harem” is neither practical or feasible
even if the women were “ok” with it simply because of the huge competition it would
cause between the woman and unless the man was superman he couldn’t keep up.
I’ve never watched “Sister Wives”, but I know it reflects living situations that DO exist today.
Yes, many of them are exploitative of underage girls with no power to opt out, but far from
all of them. And not all polyamorous human relationships today are polygynous. Polyandry
exists as well as groups that are both. Both “open” and “closed”. In this storyline we have
seen multiple voluntary polygynous relationships, the perverted “group marriage” you called
“red-neck pieces of filth”, and there have been hints at others. That scarcely scratches the
surface of arrangements humans have made in real life in different cultures, and still do.
The red-neck pieces of filth started http://thegentlewolf.net/comic/tgw-091/
to tgw-101. That was me being nice to those types I won’t share my true
thoughts about people like that.
While there are social pressures within the Empire, the government doesn’t care
about the shape of anyone’s relationships, as long as they involve consenting adults.
As to “adults”, that’s a legal concept. Jonathan’s daughters, as well as Tenshi and Zasha,
had to convince a judge to let them declare themselves legal adults as they were all well
under 21. Above 21, people are considered social adults, but not legal adults unless they
declare themselves such. At any age, legal children can not serve in the military or vote,
among other restrictions, and criminal penalties are generally less. Many businesses give a
childrens’ discount, as the general feeling is that anyone who would trade their ability to
vote for a cheaper bus fare shouldn’t be voting anyway. There’s more, but that’s enough for
now.
In real life, I could see a polyamorous relationship of up to four people, three and one or two and two,
but many more than that seems it would put a strain on the relationships. (Although, if it was a group
whom had been together for many years, that might adjust both the number and ratios a bit, especially
if they’ve been living under the same roof during the time prior to the poly relationship).
I also can envision a non-sexual polyamorous relationship between Terrains and Catians, cuddle-piles,
mutual grooming, etc. Even if they “don’t smell right”. Families form in even weirder ways, but they do
happen.
“AHA,” as Sherlock would say,
“the game is afoot, Watson.”
Here I thought the DS had a friend.
It’s bad when you fall asleep talking.

Were you wondering how he was doing?
Three total now.
I have been. Since he looked like he was going to accept, his is one of the
polygynous relationships I’ve been citing.
Dragonflies must use a LOT of energy to eat
6 slices of Sushi that are half her size.
I still think the shot of beer is cute/funny

They raped to death multiple young girls and boys who are still suffering
for a profit all the while claiming it was the will of god…

As it should be I don’t care how people behave as long as they
don’t try to force their ideas onto other’s. Or harm anyone in
doing so.
