That boy is in for a world of hurt, when the Marines/Spetnaz find him.
Unless . . . nah. They wouldn’t have already administered their own
justice on him. That would go against their ouths, at least for the Marines.

A Marine and Spetznaz decided to give
the boy a little “wall to wall” counseling.
Buuuut the boy was “too fragile” and he…
uhhhh… “broke”. Yeah! That’s it! He “broke”!
And now the Marine and Spetznaz have
gotten rid of the body.
Poof! He just disappeared!
And when you have friends in high AND
low places…..especially military friends…..
it’s easy enough to find whatever you need
……and just as easy to make disappear
whatever you need.
Now I need to get back to my meersham pipe.
Oh, c’mon, after all this buildup,
do you think I would take such a simple way out?
Maybe not to the death itself, but to the
hiding, removal, smuggling, and disposal
of the body…….that would not be so simple.

but got nicknamed “Easy Company” due to
the fact that their assignments were
anything EXCEPT “Easy”…
Same letter, and that’s where my head went as soon as I heard
“Corporal Rock”.
Bentok was running the long game on Mistrial,
granted she was over-reacting, but still, that
was almost cruel!
Hard to say where this punk went, much less how.
I figured it was local rumors more than facts,
people can’t resist making up their personal ideas
on what went down, rather than fact-finding.
I wonder what floor his quarters were on, fire-
escape, basement access, this is going to get
ugly. Unless Sam is right, and it was an
independent disciplinary action… like the old
“soap inna sock” type, only with 5 rolls of
quarters, loose. Or just gravel.
After thinking about it, maybe one of the guards
was a father/brother, uncle, or boyfriend, and
talked the others into playing blind deaf mute
for 5 mins. About a month later they track down
that awful smell coming from a heat duct…
I, unfortunately, suspect that this will turn
out to be the actual fate of the DB in question.

I was just saying Bentok knew what Rock was up
to and was playing GA for her guilt feelings. Just like
what Doc and Pony did to Teresa. Just some
harmless fun.
Imperial Marine AND a Spetsnaz guarding him and he STILL escapes?

Ah, yes. Thank you PC. I knew it in my mind,
just failed to pass it on to my fingers.
Update on my father: the doc gave him a drug to slow the progression
of his alzhermer’s and it seems to be helping, he’s not getting any worse.
Sadly that means he is getting 5 people coming to visit him for PT and
weekly health checks. I’ve made it clear that he’s never alone or unable
to care for himself, but with the paranoia he was having panic attacks if I
went into his room. So I stopped going in there and 6 months later…
I won’t go into details but it’s just awful, now I have to. He stopped
cleaning and doing his laundry! I’ve done 5 loads and there’s still more.
Facial tissues everywhere…
I have two great fears – Alzheimers and vision loss.
I don’t want to live with either.
Mine too, more so as I age. He has
cataracts and his vision is poor, plus he
gets confused and forgets what he was
doing. And too proud to ask for help…
Stubborn German through and through.
I hate to say it, but I’ll have to act the
parent with him from now on 🙁
My father’s heading for both those plus hearing loss.

He has minor hearing loss too, I just have
to talk loud and face him when I do. I
wear a hearing aid myself… Years in a
loud factory does that.

Holy cow. I will say I’m fed up with the “what-about-ism” from
both political extremes, and I detest Putin and think we should
rename Napoleon Complex after him, but still… When a despot
controls all sources of information, you can’t fault the rank and
file for being ignorant.
Ignorant can be fixed, sadly stupid requires something
more drastic. Like a lead pill sent at about 350 fps…
350 fps??? that has to be black powder…
the slowest i have is a 25 cal, @600 fps.
my .177 pellet pistol is 1100 fps..
ok,, my Red Rider bb rifle is 350 fps.
