Could be some auto-correction thing, Rob. I’ve OFTEN had to go back and edit posts (texts or messenger) because the unit in question had another opinion on what should be written.

The fact that Miral normally is going 120-an-hour and now has to be more sedate…

“Stagnant” is a punny euphemism for pregnant. My folks used to use it. It’s much the same as using “expecting” or “with child”. People used to be more polite, less crude in their public language. When I was growing up, “butt” was considered impolite (ass was almost obscene) so I was taught to use “behind”. It was a different time. There actually were standards of public behavior and decorum. {sigh}
The Spanish word (I live in a city which was 65% Mexican – not ” Hispanic by thunder! – 50 years ago.) for pregnant is “embarazada”. Kinda fits, doesn’t it?
Mouseover or no, it’s already been established that every male in the clan will consider himself a/the father, and the mother may or may not know for sure who is the real bio-dad. Jealousy and possessiveness in this arena is unusual for Cats, responsibility is not. Personally, I kind of like that. (I would have thought Jochi a bit old for Miral, but, hey, c’est la joie de vivre.)
Actually, they were exclusive lovers. Trying for a combination of his calm intellect and her swift ferocity.

me personally, i see the Terran (been to Earth.) cats going to a monogamous relationship,, as to why,, ‘Earth customs’.. most , not all, were slaves, and were not “clan protected” so. having a kit was not a option. now on Terra, monogamy rears it’s head,,, “!you can have a kit with one mate,! and keep that mate,, an no one cares, bats an eye,,, an congratulate you.!!?” plus if any thing happed, to one or the other, every one , not just the clan is willing to help… o.0 ..

After seeing the real-world module built for the CH-64 (all thanks to Rob) I discarded that attempt and started over clean slate. I had been putting the skeleton of the modules on the outside per the cargo module executed by the original author of the Locust. When I looked at photos of the multi-purpose module the Army had for use with the Skycrane, I decided to go another direction. Now the “frame” is on the inside while the outer skin is smooth. I put up 2 quick renders. One is with mannikin figures both for scale and to show that it should fit 4 rows of troops easily. If I can get 18 seats per row (which I believe is doable) then it should easily accommodate 72 troops. It should also be able to accommodate 36 troops plus cargo. There is even room for a Hum-V plus a couple of pallets or perhaps a couple of old-style Jeeps while still carrying 36 troops. I’m going with a simple drop down door with power to open/close. There is a control panel on the right side of the rear to operate the door.
Getting back to work now. Gotta come up with a real-looking design for the seats. The seats will be similar to the seats I have seen pictured for cargo planes and helos but not an exact nock-off. If you guys want, I’ll put pix of the seats up as I get them ready.
My internet is giving me a lot of problems. My new provider starts on 06/10.
If I disappear, I’ll be back then with more comics.

OK.!.. up date on PC.. his internet is really spotty now,, lets just say he’s on vacation for the next two weeks..
i don’t expect any updates till the 10th.. if any do happen , “Great.!” but don’t plan on it..
Not the best but it is what it is. I still plan to come here every day to vote. And I’ll continue work on a couple of models I have in progress. Shit happens everywhere. A week ago today some asshole rear-ended my wife in her Prius. She really loved that car. Bad news is that the insurance decided to total it. Good news is the insurance payout is just enough to payoff the existing note and – maybe – have enough for a downpayment on a new car but Prius are too expensive for us now. The wife is really bummed. It’s gonna hurt to lose a car that easily gets 40mi/gal in town. She called a couple of the local ambulance chasers but they said there really isn’t enough of a case what with the insurance paying off as well as it is. Dollars to donuts the guy who hit her was texting when he did it. Body shop estimate was $17 GRAND! As the immortal Robin Williams put it so well, “Assholes do VEX me!”
