Way back when I used to have a folder just for sites like- and including- flopping aces. I think I had over 50 such political sites in there. I see they have changed their format substantially from way back then….
I’m trying to avoid reading at more than, say, a dozen sites *lol* I really need to focus on my writing, rather than politics.
Walked into Wal-Mart BARE FACED today and nobody said boo about it. Oh there’s still a sign up telling everybody to wear a mask but the folks at the door didn’t say anything when I walked in.
In other news: when I came out of the Dr’s office (prior to going to W mart) there was a truck parked in the parking lot advertising – get this – “Liquid Death” thirst quencher (Murder your thirst!). It’s just “spring water”. It comes in “still” and sparkling varieties and a 12 pack of 16oz cans will set you back TWENTY BUCKS on Amazon! What was it P T Barnum said about suckers? Oh, yeah, there’s one born every minute. (He also said New York was the best place to catch suckers although I suspect the internet has overtaken the “Big Apple” for that activity.)
Where we live currently, you can get a water cube (200 gallons, I think) filled for – IF I recall correctly – $2, straight out of the ground. We got 2 cisterns- 2000 gallons- filled for $90. Which I guess means the biggest share of the expense was the delivery to our home.
Ever since I read panel 5, I have this image of
someone trying to kidnap Teresa and Taritha
grabs her and runs at top speed while Teresa
yells out “WAAAK!” heh.
One of my favorite news and analysis websites:

Might be because commenting is so easy. Bunch of good people.

Same here, I tend to avoid the internet entirely for days at a time.
Never knew of “Flopping Aces” before. Thanks for the link, Catman.

Would you use a product marketed under the brand name “liquid death”? I sure as hell wouldn’t!
