Love the ending of Ginnie’s story and the story of the sapling. Got a literal one of those myself in my back yard. Back in 98, the 2nd year we were in the little house on Foster Trail Drive, we bought a tiny one gallon red oak from Home Depot. It was barely taller than the bucket it came in. A real “Charley Brown” tree. We planted it. Kept it watered. Put down fertilizer stakes every year for several years. Kept it pruned (and the wounds panted – oak wilt is common here) and watched it grow. Almost a quarter century later it is taller than our house and bigger around than I can reach.
Thanks for the great story, Cat man. Easily one of your best if not THE best. Keep ’em coming!
I agree this was a good story, and a nice wrap on Ginny. I think I especially like the fact that issues of her eventual happy sexuality are left unanswered, the gender(s) of her spouse(s), whether the grandchildren (and children before them) are natural, adopted or step-, and so on. None of that is important to the story, so best left unstated. Very well done.
Curious – Wondering about the reason in the “characters” line above, that Miral is listed as Murial ?
Wondering if I missed something.
Wondering also – who the two guys(?) are that are rushing to help Ryza and Louisilla being carried to medical help.
Yes – Well done on Ginny’s story – will we be seeing more of her exploits?
Curious. Ryza is a male. In a whorehouse. And he’s not wearing what
I’d particularly call servant’s clothing. What was his role in the facility?
Or, do I really not want to know, cause that’s just sick.
hehe,, bunny ears…
and what is on her tail…?
Hippie bangles.
I’m not seeing any bunny ears. (.) (.)
Panel 4, Patches is doing it to Rag Doll.
Well, there’s another Terrain habit the Catians have adopted…
Thanks, I need to turn my contrast up.
Bill got it right on the previous page.
It just took more than one, this time.
Dispatcher: “How old is he?”
Deputy: “Too old.”
