rifle in right hand,, head of security is not going to ask to change hands.. since she is the head of the bodyguard, (not assassin..)
a few of the bodyguard details (FBI) require you to carry the same equipment. (so ammo an training is interchangeable.) ,, others, as long as it meets certain regs, not so much..
an they (security) were briefed on what to expect,, like Malas explosives, but still required to ask..
when i worked V.I.P. security,, we were asked the same (except explosives) questions at the air port..
Didn’t mean assassin as a pejorative. Person trained and well versed in quietly removing people who need to be removed, without fanfare. James Bond is an assassin. All or most of Teresa’s bodyguard are. So is her dad. Most assassins, fictional and real, can and do live by a code of ethics and do not kill for money.

Bill- I haven’t quite gotten the manuscript finished yet! There are several crucial moments in the end of the book which I am agonizing over.
