In this world, once a Dragon – especially an arrogant one – is beaten, she treats the winner as her superior.
This one was thoroughly cowed when Kathy beat her so easily.
Question for our story teller: I don’t recall what color Dagger is (affects? Can they change colors?). Is he still away? Or did he pop back when Theresa awoke?
Dagger is Green (warrior).. an still missing..
we are still waiting to see IF Dragon an Dagger can make it back, from “wherever,,.” Dragon took them to break the connection.!!
Observation: Being in combat changes a person. I’ve never “seen the elephant” but I am aware of that fact. I saw the difference in my son after he came home from Desert Storm. I would be very afraid of someone who had “seen the elephant” WITHOUT being changed. We need sheepdogs protecting us not wolves. Such as could see combat and NOT be changed would be wolves and, IMO, could not be trusted to safeguard the flock. I respect the HELL outta the sheepdogs who stand ready in the night to do violence upon our behalf.
