Remember, this is a flashback to right after the presence of the Cats was revealed.
This was the first time Minka and Mavia had seen each other.
It was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

going by Mavia’s family (dad an sis, that we know of.) they look nothing alike..so unless not the norm, i would say twin.. because he is older than the kids (bought , trained , an grew up with them..)..

or like in my case too tiny to be a threat.. i could not fight my way out of a wet paper bag…so if i get into a fight i Have to end it first,, cuz one hit an im done.!!

And life in prison doesn’t look as serious to us as it does to a younger person.

Oh, you meant Jaris. I feel dumb. I wondered if you’d found a picture of ME somewhere floating around the Net, because Bill here looks like what I could think a better-preserved version of myself might look like.

This is the family I was wondering about. I’m glad PC is revisiting them. Also glad to see that this is going smoothly, and that the younger Herrat’s assessment of Jaris’s position in the family appears to have been accurate. I can’t tell if the sister is excited for her adopted brother regaining both home and freedom or about to break into tears over losing him. Could be both.

Great job, Catman. I don’t recall telling you I’m a southpaw. If you ever have Bill firing a long gun,I do that conventionally. It’s how I learned to fire my BB gun as a kid and I just never bothered to change. Besides, it works better for dealing with spent brass and expelled shotgun shells. Wish I could afford a suppressor for my Uzi Eagle.

Love the expression on Old Bill’s face. The Lamia panels are good but the panels on Terra are a true tour de force. You are becoming every bit as much an artist with CGI as you are with a camera -and that’s SAYING something!

Thank you. Comments like yours keep me going.
Now can I PLEASE start using Bill’s real name?

In my country you don’t see people carry guns. Even hunters have
to keep them in a safe and the ammunition in a second safe.
And a movable safe for driving to the hunt. You can get a license
for a gun if you are in a shooting club for sports or you have a
special reason so as being owner of a jewelry. We just have a
different culture regarding weapons. Our police kills about 2 to
20 people a year in service with 83mio people. And shoots about
200 rounds at people per year in service. We have about 10% of
the people in prison per capita compared to USA and there are
hardly any unsafe areas in my country.
The violent crime rate is dropping for decades.

There are many reasons for our high crime rates,
guns play a very minor part comparatively.
One reason is that we have so MANY laws,
and so many people in jail or prison that don’t
      need to be there.
Another reason is that too many criminals are
      not punished.
There is no incentive to avoid criminal acts if
there are no serious repercussions to criminal acts.

In addition to those, PC, if you took the top 10-15 high crime
cities out of the equation, the US has a much lower violent
crime rate than most of Europe. And all of those 10-15 cities
have the high crime rates because of soft-on-crime policies.
Get hard on criminals, and the crime rates drop.

see that’s where you buy the us media rhetoric…
          https://www.numbeo.com/crime/rankings.jsp
depending on which list, you look at. the us only
has up to two cities in the top 15…
but you are correct on the ‘crime policies’.
