What is the comfort level of the dress boots, as opposed to regular combat boots? Perhaps they are easier on her feet. Not only that, but possibly easier for her to run as she is used to running.
corfam boots are much like any dress shoe. they are parade/dress type footwear. combat boots are like cross-training shoes, rugged aggressive tread, good ankle support. and they aren’t
shiny and give away your position.
my corfam dress boots (for all day duty) are very comfortable.. if im standing 8 hour duty,, they have to be comfy.. normally $80 , these cost $150..
so i can see hers costing $175 – 200 each pair.. but well worth it..
She’s a Cat, she likes shiny things.
They’re otherwise normal (but high quality boots). Even have heavy lugs on the sole and heel.
Not that she spends a lot of time in the dirt. She was born to fly.
But she bought a pair of dress boots in the PX, and after a day of pain had two pair custom made.

To be fair, considering relative lifespans, she’s in her early twenties.
