I see our future president has made a new appearance!

    Kajm, shut it.

‘We don’t feed them enough in boot.’ – neat way to teach ingenuity in the field. That’s not the right word but what do you expect at 4 in the morning.

“future president”???? Our verdant locked heir designate I know about but “future president”???? I know you know things not all of us here don’t. Care to share, oh wise and mighty Kajim?

I don’t know about the Army but at Lackland I ate all I wanted and still dumped a shitload of weight. Had to replace all my initial issue pickle suit pants cause they were several inches too large.

“Future president” comes from a joke I- sorry- Kajm made, to Petercat over on Deviantart, concerning the brain-damaged gentleman in the first frame. That’s the kind of humor Kajm has. Might he know something? Probably not about the future of that person- but as you can see with Teresa, unusual powers can do unusual things- and Kajm is Quite unusual.

OT:Question for Catman. Was taking a trivia quiz for “boomers” and one had a shot of Fonda and Hopper from “Easy Rider”. Looking at those two guys the question occurred to me “How the HELL was that position – leaning back with your arms extended out in front of you, hands above shoulder level, weight concentrated on your tailbone region – at all comfortable for riding cross country? I loved my last bike – ’83 Honda 659 Nighthawk – but the reviews said it had a “50 mile saddle” and they were RIGHT! I once rode from my home in south Austin to my folks’ in southeast San Antonio (right at 90 miles) and my ass was killing me when I got to the south side of New Braunfels (approx. 55 miles from my home). You’re a biker. How comfortable is a chopper like those guys rode in “Easy Rider” for cross country? I figure guys rode those things more for “cool” than for comfort.

Not at all comfortable, it just looks cool.
Not only is all of your weight on your tailbone, but leaning back puts a tiresome load on your arms and hands. The wind makes it worse.
I have tall bars and forward pegs, but the bars are adjusted so that I sit upright, and the windshield works well.
I find the forward pegs more comfortable than stock, although I might try a set of floorboards.
The stock seat was a 100 mile seat, so I spent the monety to buy the best solo I could. It’s a 200 mile seat. Kinda sucks.
And the tank is far too narrow, my knees can’t rest against it comfortably. Especially not with the air cleaner where it is.

When did “cool” ever have anything to do with comfort? If it did, no women would wear high heels.

Heh, my Supersport was defined as a “cruiser” but it had
a crappy seat, kinda like a squared-off banana seat like
the one on my old 20″ bicycle from my childhood. When I
first got the SS, I road for a tank full, refilled and rode home.
my legs were trashed! Think road-rash on the inner thighs.
To this day I jokingly scream out and point “BANANA!!”
when I ever see one on a bike 🙂 Much to my son’s dismay 😛

A word of warning: That link now goes to a 1-pixel gif, with all the hallmarks of an attack site.
