also.. they do have ‘ subsonic ‘ ammo for pistols.. with a silencer the noise you hear from rifles is the crack, of the bullet breaking the sound barrier..
so with subsonic ammo an a good silencer the noise you hear would be as loud as a hand clap,, an the slide,, brass hitting the floor..
the VSS Vintorez uses SP-5/6 9x39mm (same as Cat’s AK49S) which is used up to 400 meters,, to push it farther would put it above the sound barrier..
The range is not as great, but in many cases, a suppressor will actually increase accuracy.
A lot depends on the bullet base, a flat base is more disrupted by the blast as it leaves the muzzle.
A suppressor reduces the amount of gasses leaving the bore with the projectile.
Does the eyepatch make her look suitably rakish?

I’ve read about subsonic ammo but never fired it. How does it affect range or accuracy? I’d think negatively for both, but maybe not much.
