It’s like one of those counter doors you see in restaurants, swings both ways.
“Cause you never know which way people will be running!
      (Actually, I made another mistake)
I have outside hinges on my exterior doors. With pins and sockets on the hinge side.
They’re 2″thick, some thug thinks he’s going to kick my door in? Heh-heh. Not even a battering ram.
(Rebuilding and reselling foreclosed houses, 15+ years)

2″ security doors with a 20 min torch rating,, similar hinges,, 1″ x 4″ steel plate floor to ceiling, both sides in the studs (very jack resistant), an Medeco deadbolts.. ,, it would be easier to go thru the walls…
an windows have “Security Screen” coverings. plus roll up storm shutters, that drop on glass breakage or power outage.. an yes i had a home invasion, that set all this in motion , quite a few years ago…

I didn’t wait for a home invasion. I’m naturally paranoid.
During a very dark period, I lived on Troost Ave in Kansas City.
Providing armed transport for strippers and hookers.
I was living in an apartment above a plumbing shop.
I taped a used police silhouette target on my front door.
Scrawled in Magic Marker – “Do you really want to come in?”
Many a night I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.
Moments later they were going back down.

i was 17, just moved out, staying with a “friend” in south la.. her friends (3) found i had “Toys” (guns) an decided to rob me.. cut power an phone line (mid 80s),, kicked in both doors.. 1 had handgun, other 2 had big knives, i shot 2, an the 3rd ran to the cops,, he said i started the fight an they were defending themselves.. 1 died (handgun),, an i am no longer “allowed” in cally because of vigilante justice as they called it…oh.. joined Marines to get out of jail time for shooting them…

Got a distant cousin who is a Lawyer. Reggie told me to let the bad guy(s) cross the threshold of your bedroom before opening fire. Seems that actually going into your bedroom is prima facie evidence of intent on the part of the home invader/burglar. It should help in any criminal or civil trial. ‘Course in Kali you’re likely STILL screwed. Why any conservative (i.e. sane person with at least half a brain) would choose to live in Kali these days is utterly beyond me. It IS the granola capital of the world, after all. Yup. More fruits, nuts and flakes there (at least in the coastal cities) than any other part of world.

That female quisling looks like a guy! Or at least a TS or TV anyhow. Ain’t enough beer in Milwaukee to make goggles thick enough to make THAT hittable.
