“His word against theirs so he’s delusional” only if they have gained greater control of the change — earlier it took considerable time for their eyes to revert to “normal” — longer than they could reasonably kneel there looking only at Lee and not letting any of the others see their eyes. Of course, since they seemed to have summoned the change at will rather than undergoing sufficient stress to activate their “dragon spirits”, it would appear they HAVE acquired that control.
