There are three images of the hard drive approaching her face to
match the three positions of her arm. Two of them are pretty dark.
Maybe that’s what you’re seeing?
There’s also a reflection of Kathy in the wall mirror to her left.
The snubbie is Lin’s. It’s a .38.
The NICKEL is Miral’s – it’s a classic Python in .357.
She appreciates power.

A nastier – and well-deserved – plan would have been to let him take that hard drive home and hand it over to the intelligence service before he
knew what was on it. And perhaps to imply that they should look for files hidden by steganography… and actually include an actual hidden message –

knew bout carry,, just wanted to know,, “Who’s” .. an much prefer magnum,, that way i can shoot 38, if need be,, can’t the other way…

I considered something like that, but for Kathy, it’s become too personal.
