It’s getting old. Especially if you’re talking about “Muslim hordes from Europe”.
They’re a pretty small minority here. It’s rather unlikely that they’d been in power after a collapse.
There’s fanatics as well as pious members in each faith.

No. I have read two different translations of the Quran, both endorsed as
accurate by leading Islamic scholars. It is a bloody, violent religion and
anyone who is a “Good” or “Moderate” Muslim is not following the
commandments as spelled out by Muhammad. The commandments to
deceive, kill, and/or enslave the unbeliever. I have also spent five years
in the Middle East and have seen with my own Eyeball, Mark I, how
Muslims treat their own people when there is no one around who is
strong enough to stop them. Islam is a brutal, unforgiving and evil
religion that has no place in a civilized land. Perhaps you know a “good”
Muslim, or perhaps you merely know one who is obeying Islam’s command
to deceive the unbeliever as to their true intentions.
Don’t worry, Islam is a minor side issue in the rest of the comic. It’s just not
that important. But it is that evil.
Historically Christians and Jews both haven’t been much better.
And there’s still people who claim the bible tells them to kill those who oppose them.
And there have been times during the middle ages, where Islamic rulers have been way,
way more progressive than their Christian counterparts at that time.
(But ok. I didn’t read the Quran myself, so I have to concede that point)
This is true. However, Christianity and Judaism have matured
with time. For example, if someone were to slaughter civilians
in the name of Christianity, then Christians around the world
would almost universally condemn the act.
But when a Muslim slaughters the innocent in the name of Islam,
very few, if any, of the supposed “good” Muslims will stand
and condemn that act.
When Islam matures to the point that an act of evil committed
in the name of Allah is universally condemned by other Muslims,
I will easily welcome them into the ranks of the civilized.

ANY female (soldier) caught without male escort an carrying a
weapon, was to be shot, beheaded, raped, and/or mutilated..
not necessarily in that order. an that was our Muslim allies…
infidels off base out of uniform, were to be made example of,
so we were not allowed off base. IE: infraction of law, torture
an beheading.. (and they have some pretty vague laws)
I am with Petercat here the Muslim extremists and currently the most active world-wide however,
we’ve had our share of trouble-makers: the anti-abortionists, the Eco-friendly terrorists, numerous
cults over the years, the list goes on. Ireland/England had their share and still do to this day Simply
put as long as someone disagrees with another’s ideas so strongly they are willing to hurt innocents
just to be heard or take control to “fix” things to their liking we will have these problems.
The truly saddest thing is IF they are successful then at some point another group who believes they
are just as right will start the process all over again changing nothing but the population levels again.
