Obama is no longer in office at this point in the story.
Yeah. I meant if he claims to be the last elected president before the Fall, then who was that guy trying to blackmail everybody with the “football”?
That story was written when Obama was still President, so the guy
with the football was his imagined successor. Trump hadn’t come
along yet.
