Maybe, but I hope not. Gametes, chromosome counts,
and DNA in general should be incompatible. But it’s
PC’s story. Not that I like Scar’s idea better,
        but it seems more likely.

Never mind. We already know Kima is incapable even for a human woman.
It would have to be a prior liason, which also seems unlikely given
Marise’s emotional state. And Doc Rat isn’t objecting to her leaving
the atmosphere, but touching other people’s dishes. This could be bad.

Uh-oh, that sounded ominous, Doc Rat.

so, seeing those plates of food.
did Marise get her own plate of greens.?
or are they omnivore like everyone else.?
..about 75% of rabbits diet is long stem
grasses like straw or hay. 25% is veggies
    or low sugar content fruit..

I think I read somewhere that rabbits aren’t especially fond
of carrots. But I also read that mice don’t much care for
cheese, either. Or that cats don’t really dig cream.

carrots are to sweet for rabbits (hence the low sugar content)
cats an mice don’t have the ability to process dairy..
IE: mice cant digest processed milk solids,. and cat’s don’t
have the enzyme to break down any of the dairy..

Oh sure, rabbits are interested in the leaves growing up
than the root below, moles were the culprit there! My wife’s
rabbit and my sister’s guinea pigs loved celery and lettuce
more than anything. I don’t miss the “wa-EEP wa-EEP” they
did when they heard plastic crackle heh.

Cats are naturally lactose intolerant, they might like the taste,
but I never liked to hear the “issues” they had in the cat box.
          Much less the smell…

a, did you know..: Myth, “carrots are good for your eyes.”
was a WWII propaganda “fact”, started, to explain why night

Ah yeah, they were pushing that even back in my
school days, “beta-carotene” is a real thing, but
it aids in healing and food digestion, VERY little aid
in eye sight. I don’t like them enough to eat 5 lbs
a day every day to get any benefit for my eyesight.

          • Bill Mullins
            August 12, 2023, 07:28 | # | Reply

But beta-carotene is very necessary for developing eyes. Sometime
back I read that they had developed a strain of rice that was rich in
beta-carotine. It is a natural saffron color. Unfortunately it never
caught on due to enviro-wackos generating fear of “franken-food” (GMO).
The result is tens of thousands of children in Asia and Africa growing
up with vision problems unnecessarily. Pretty much all our modern food
crops are so heavily modified as to be virtually unrecognizable to the
            ancestral forms.

no and yes,, beta-carotene is a ‘supplement’, and is not classified
as a drug. it converts to “vitamin – A”, which is good for the eyes,
but in the conversion process it interacts with other chemicals and
become toxic.. IE: irl, one sister who took beta-carotene, and smoked,
has directly related cancers, (all the biopsies have carotene markers.)

Ah I had forgotten that, I kinda got out of the health kick after
I had to quit the body-building, a lot of nutrition involved with
that. I took a lot of vitamins and loaded carbs and proteins in
those days. Basically, pills and a lot of pasta/meats.

just me bitching.. which means change Nothing.! or,, adding artwork would
be a pain in the ass. a bow heavy enough to use hunting / combat (45+lbs)
needs a glove/finger tab to protect fingers from nerve damage,. holding
the bow wrong, IF not using a ‘arm guard’,. arrows,, went back to the
“Yard shaft”, and 60lbs spline draw. and stopped making individual weight
an length per person,. and,, hunting tipped arrows would not be sheathed
like that,, target arrows or bodkin points, maybe..

While it’s a recurve bow, it might not have a very heavy pull. Granted, a
lighter weight bow won’t have much range, but it would still hurt to get
hit with an arrow from a 35-40# bow. Though I’ll agree that the arrows
do look a bit long for her. She might have an arm guard on her right arm –
she appears to be a lefty. And yeah, probably not broadheads on those
      arrows.

hurt, yes,, lethal no. hence the 45lbs + .. back before the 1900s pretty
much all arrows were made the same, “one size fits none”. no arm guard,
        i looked.. and definitely not..
i shoot about 60 arrows a week,. i also teach traditional archery once a
month. i have over 20 bows, 14 traditional, an a little over 500 arrows.
and except for the “student practice arrows” (60), none of em are packed
        like that.!

I could be wrong, but Willow’s crossbow reminds me a bit of a
repeater crossbow from the movie “Van Helsing” and some iffy
attempts to recreate it. I seen it on YouTube, but I haven’t
been able to find it again. This is the basic idea, but not the
          one I seen:
          https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3WqUHy0bxGg

I’ll have that part printed shortly PC,
              I like to print 3, a prototype, a dry

it’s a new one to me. It’ll only take
90 mins or so to print.

                  That’s a very interesting rifle, unless it’s full-auto.
It looks quick-change, but reloading the mag must
                  of SUCKED. Everything well-lubed maybe…
                  Is that .45 HG rounds?

I almost bought one once, but the price was too high and
extra magazines were nowhere to be found. It’s a 9mm, and
yes, Calico (Manufacturer) made a full-auto version.
It had a knob to wind the spring with, it was actually
                    pretty easy to load.
But an M1 Carbine with three 30-round magazines was more
powerful and less expensive. (30 Carbine specs are close
                    to .357 power levels.
Also, the Calico tended to not like hollow points, while
                    an M1 doesn’t even notice.

Definitely not a easy-to-target with either, and no option for a scope, every
time you would switch out the mag you risk knocking the iron sights off a bit.
I only use hollows in my 9 mm, except for target practice of course, if I have
to use it I want to make sure my target is easy to ID. Plus I want them to
remember why it was a bad idea to began with… (If they live 😉 )

The prototype was iffy, I’ll make some changes and try again.
I think my nozzle is worn I’ll change it before I try again. That
last order might of been too much for the cheap ones.

                      i have the M-100 an the M950 (gen 1),. i have 4 mags for 22, an 6 for
                      the 9. (3×50, 3×100). in full auto i empty a 50rd in 7.5 seconds..
because of design (bolt placement) there is no muzzle jump, so in FA,
you get a slight counter clock wise spin on the pattern, it is not
hyper accurate,, (but i can put all rounds on target), as in it was
designed to be a PDW / suppression weapon.. so it was not made to
                      accommodate aftermarket…

Second print of that part was better, but I’m still not
happy with it. It’s so thin if it’s not perfect, it’ll break
once it’s cold. The downside of using cheaper printers,
they need a lot of maintenance. I’ll re-tram the Z-axis.

I went to the local Micro Center store in Indy City,
I wanted to cry, they have a AnyCubic Mono 4K
for $150 and an Ender 3 v2 for $99! The only thing
I didn’t like about the V2 was the glass bed and
the price, when I looked at it last year, $270. They
were replaced by the v2 Neo, so they are being
phased out. FDM and resin printers are getting
like Iphones, they set a slightly better model every
                      year or so.

Can you modify the file to make it thicker? And delete both
of the holes on the far left (round and square)? I can drill
them more accurately than the illustration shows.
Mine is a different model board, but except for those two
holes, it looks like a good match.
Mine has two of the old-style mouse and keyboard ports, I
might not even bother to drill them out.

Sure, I was going to tell you that the parts are done, but I got the issues worked
out with the printer so any changes are simple. It was a combination of the
man-handling my son did setting the printer in the isolation cover and a worn-out
nozzle. the down-side of inexpensive printers is they are VERY easy to knock
out the adjustment. The nozzle wasn’t pushing out a round stream and kept
sticking to it instead of the build plate. I have SO many iffy nozzles in a box
                      right now…
I needed that cover so I could use ABS and ASA plastics, both produce fumes
that would be bad long-term for both my father and wife. So I redid the
living room and bought a couple of carbon filters to put inside the enclosure.

The trailer was a bust, that branch busted the roof edge as well, I’d have to
strip the inner walls and rebuild it to fix it all.

The crossbow I had seen a while back was intended
to be full auto, this is a modern day repeater, NOT
full auto. Which means the one in the Van Helsing
movie was all movie magic, since no one can
            re-create it successfully.

Doesn’t take much to be lethal if she’s good enough to hit an eye socket or a

Well, the ladies seem nice for now, hopefully the men are the same.

Hmmm.. Toxic lake, long term exposure, I think I know what Doc. Rat
is about to explain to Marise it all to her and the other’s. I was
afraid that this was coming. Cancer, sterility, mutations, and so on.

There is no cure for heavy-metal exposure, it stays for a very long
time. It’s what caused my cancer. They used to treat the lead and
mercury miners by setting them in a sweat box for hours. The idea
was they could sweat it out. Forcing a lot of liquids, etc.

a Carbon X1, ONLY $1450! I’d love to but not at that price. That
printer has the option of up to 16 rolls, so I can printer in full
color without having to stop the print or use paint. Tempting, but
only if I start running in the black.
