Sorry about the delay. My porch steps were more rotten than I thought,
and I fell through this morning. Spent the day at my Doctor’s getting
a tetanus shot, then in bed. No lasting damage, just cuts and bruises
and difficulty walking for a while. I need a new porch,
luckily it’s only a small platform.
Yes! Glad to hear it. My father’s bypass was 37 years ago and
they told him he only had 6 months to live. We got him better
doctors and he had a aorta valve replaced 10 years ago.
he’s on his second pacemaker and is only now slowing down.
You’re fine PC, many of the sites I visit rarely keep a schedule.
Just heal up, we can wait if need be. I’ve got the same issue
with my father’s ramp, not looking forward to that either.
Rob, the treatments are much better than even 10 years ago,
my father has had 3 attacks and he’s still going good,
my grandfather had 5 attacks before he passed.
I feel for Pee Wee, if he sees Kiesha’s head he might break down,
not a good thing in a combat situation. Or goes into a rage and
starts hunting, either one is a bad thing!
Cool! Maybe we can see more of the races of the fringe now.
Taritha knows what could be (is) happening on the HH world,
we’ll just have to wait it out! I’m sure she’ll have some
trouble with at least some of them, the whole “human slave”
thing is sure to come up a time or two.
I’m glad to hear you took the prudent course and
didn’t try to tough your way through it.
I hope both of you are soon back to your usual
selves.
( PSSSS, Are you sure this comic is safe today?) 😉
Phrases like that always make me think of “Force 10 From Navarone”.
The sappers buddies are so disappointed the explosion did not
immediately collapse the dam, then when the cracks started spreading,
they were so awed that such a little disruption brought down such a
large edifice :}

Top scenario reminds me of:
“Stand up! Hook Up! Shuffle to the door!
Jump right out on the count of four!
If my ‘chute don’t open wide!
I’ll be a part of the countryside!”
(and on and on…)
No, I was never airborne.
But we would sing that cadence
(among many others) while running PT
(lo, many decades ago…)
(damn! I miss “the life”)
My father told me when he was in they tried to get him to join the
paratroopers, so he went to watch the men training and seen a
couple fall because they didn’t pack their ‘shute right,
He was like; “nope I’m out.” lol

Not as bad as Rob’s heart attack, though.
Get well soon, Rob.
You’re important, friend.
thank you.!

that doc said “see you in 30 years.”
🙂 .. really good news

VERY glad you’re both OK and recovering.

Very glad you are not hurt badly. Fix the damn porch.

And I’ve seen others (my uncle) medically retired early due to
hip/knee/ankle/foot permanent injuries. A big “NOPE” in my book.
