The text in the bottom story is a little larger than I’ve been using. Is it an improvement?
I can’t go much larger without taking up more panels and dragging out the story.
I don’t see a significant difference, Catman. Not sure why you felt the need to make the change. I’ve never had a problem reading the text. Have to run the whole page at 110% zoom to make the comments easy to read but never had a problem with text/dialog in the comic. Course I am using a 26″ monitor to help my old eyes . . .
Ditto here. And I was using a phone last night — although I expanded the screen to the point I had to scroll left and right to see a whole panel, as usual. And the same reading glasses I have on now in front of a 28″ screen. I don’t think it’s an issue. So, to which strip does the alt-text apply? I suspect both for different reasons.
IMNSHO exile to an island wouldn’t work. They’d still be reachable. They either have to move beyond where any of the other clans can get to them, or they have to make amends, penance terms to be set by the other clans. I’m really not sure what that would possibly be.
Yep, both stories. As for the rest, put yourself in Teresa’s head.
What is her greatest responsibility? Her personality? All the pieces have been mentioned
here and there, so how will she respond?
I really want to know if I’m getting Teresa’s personality across correctly.
Many readers will project their own desires onto her, but you won’t.
So please tell me what you expect her to do.
Well, unlike the meetings that began (I looked them up) on pages 051 and 198, she’s not dealing with people who think they are in a position of superior power, but she is still dealing with people who have committed serious, violent crimes against people they should have been helping. She said ‘justice tempered with mercy’. I expect exactly that — and sending them bloodlessly into exile doesn’t satisfy justice, the anger of the other clans who are her people. But neither would vengeance, and she also said “I grow weary of killing my enemies to teach them a lesson.” She has in the past arranged for the leaders of a group to pay for the crimes committed under their leadership. And the clan chief says she is most concerned with the life of her clan and their kits. I would guess Teresa will offer her the option of surrendering herself and her chief lieutenants up to serve as scapegoats for their young and their followers, their lives forfeit to redeem the others. If she does so, that might be good enough for the other clans. If she does so willingly, Teresa MIGHT arrange for them to appear to have been killed, but really be given a much more extensive exile — somewhere the other Cats will never suspect and from where they can never attempt to contact their clan. IMO, that would in ways be more cruel than just killing them, but she might try it. Then, in 20 years or so, their good behavior might cause a sentence reduction. MIGHT. I would be amused if she STILL follows the pattern of reciting mistakes they have made, and would be surprised if the gift/bribe is mentioned again. It certainly will make no difference, but I bet she won’t bother to point that out.

How would you feel about going through 700+ comics and adding searchable keywords?
It’s under the edit comments section, on the right, below “Publish”.
“Add Tags”, “Locations” and “Characters”.
Entries in all three would be nice. Please?

I personally like the original better

Hmmm… Good points. I think that I have not developed Teresa’s personality as completely as I had hoped.
Funny, it’s quite clear in my head. 🙂
Nah, I’m probably just missing something obvious. I’m really good at that. My dad got tired of trying to teach me to hunt.
I am suspecting Teresa has the Clan to work as scouts for the Legion.

so? .. go check “TGW-20” .. like that.?
what do you want in “Tags”??
I’m not really sure, I guess tags would be something like a description of action, like “riding” or “climbing”.
TGW-495 could be fun to describe.
I never noticed the difference except the lower seems darker. The original script is fine by me. Thank-you for your efforts.
I noticed the bottom comic was a little easier to read, but didn’t know why until I read the comments.
