Note to PC. Had an idea for a graphic (meme?) but not good enough to execute it and besides have no way to post it where people would be likely to actually see it. Idea is as follows: Photo of someone obviously outdoors wearing a face diaper. Caption (two lines) reads: “Land of the free Home of the brave”. Whatcha think? Everyone who happens to read this is welcome to chime in.
I’ve had the Panel 8 situation happen more than a couple of times in the last couple of weeks. Usually on a Friday and I was planning on leaving early for the day. Just want to say I’ve been enjoying the story lines and don’t usually comment but this one just hit to close to home. As for the meme, the person should be standing on top of the side of a gorge with no one else near them.
The other day the ZMan wrote that the leftist elites believe that the U.S.’s ills stem from a surfeit of liberty. That’s why the left is trying so hard to quash what little we still have.
photo: yeah, posting a pic of a minor child, not yours, is illegal .. BUT if you were to do that to their child,, your head would still be spinning, 3 month after the verdict.!!!
I am left leaning, and from the Netherlands. I don’t know where the puts me in the American political spectrum, but This behaviour is just disgusting. Never let children be the victim of an adult’s political views. And I am not even thinking of the legality of an action like that.
There is a guy named Dan Carlin who does history podcasts (Hard Core History). They are great.
He also does a current events series called Common Sense. He has posted 3 episodes recently that warrant hearing.
I do not agree with his political choices, but I respect and understand his logic in getting there, based on his perception of history.
I do agree with him that we are in a very dire position in this country, and things are not going to get better soon.
Are you seriously hawking the speech of someone you disagree with because there is value in it even if you feel he is wrong in some of his conclusions? Channeling Voltaire? Where would this country and this world be if EVERYONE behaved that way? … In a much better place. Thank you.
Oh my, someone dares to think and draw his own conclusions from evidence that is available. We can’t have that can we? Suppose we would have a world full of people able to think for themselves……
That’s why courtesy is socially demanded in Imperial society, it’s the lubrication for communication.
It’s also why I insist on it here in the comments, how can a person learn anything if they only listen to those who already agree with them?
I just wish that more people would sign up and comment.
