Bill Mullins: (as I can never be sure that people look Back for responses): Lir are not your ‘ordinary’ dragon. I’m close to finishing my first book. Once you see their origins…..
Petercat- Yes, I took notice to that 😛 And apologies that I keep setting dates for the finishing of the Second draft- but I think you will see a bit of a difference from the first.
I look forward to reading it. In fact,do you need a beta reader? I read fast and spelling errors and word use errors (“to, too, two”, “there, their, they’re”, “high caliber” and other common usage mistakes) are like hitting a speed bump at 60 mph to me. I’m available if you’re interested.
Bill, I know a lot of writers use editors for spelling and grammar, but I suggest that people start relying less on automatic spell checking and grammar checkers and pass their stories through two or three actual editors before putting them out for publication…

I would not mind another, Bill! Petercat gave me a really good boost over the first draft; I’d be pleased to have another high-caliber reader.
Oh! Petercat: could you spot me Bill’s email? With Bill’s permission of course.
Which, of course, he has.
Done.
