hehe ,, Miral, were you not listening.? and just like that,, the bike sold it’s self….
..now i’m curious,, as to the design,,..
and that hatch (panel 7&8) behind Teresa..is either high security , or a stay out on purpose .. a right hand access , on the left side.. you actually have to stop an think before you put your hand on the panel.. and it don’t have a blue , yellow switch / button all the other doors have (i counted 3.)..
Errr, which aliens, though? Kajm’s people would detect a ship the moment its programming was aimed in their direction. They’d know who was on board by the time it began moving…
Then again, at this point in time they’ve had some rough weather, so to speak.
There has been time since the freeing of the Catian slaves in the Bushear ship to educate an engineer, for him to come up with a new design that is obviously not human to alien eyes at a glance, and then for it to be built?
…
Teresa’s past high school graduation age now, isn’t she.
He is not a fully educated engineer, he knows the ship’s systems. And he didn’t design the ship.
He was part of the initial planning, when it’s form and mission were being discussed. It is actually a scout/freighter/passenger
ship, to haul small cargoes while looking for trade routes and partners. Larger freighters will follow it.
Right now they are carrying a small variety of goods from Earth, they’ll finish filling their holds with Catian goods.
Their primary mission is to introduce the Aliens to the Empire and find out what will sell in other systems.
I decided long ago that it would be too much trouble to slowly age the characters. Maybe I will if the story ever jumps
ahead a few years.
I don’t blame you for not constantly aging your characters, I can see it would be a lot of trouble. And I’ve known women that could easily pass as high school underclassmen until well into their thirties. The story is more important than details like that. I am just trying to keep track of how much time has passed in-story. Part of the convenience of an alternate timeline is you don’t HAVE to try to pace on year in-story = 1 year real-world. This isn’t Gasoline Alley.

‘obviously non-human ship.’
Watch it be a Meowth Balloon.

The aliens on the other side of the Western wormhole.

Good God! That was some time ago. Got it.
