Bil just got a lesson in Empire finances and the President just shot himself in both feet, which is doing good as they are both in his mouth. I feel a disturbance in force. President’s force that is. Nothing is better than ‘the smell of’ a hanging in the morning. No Napalm here.

I was going to ask what Democrat this guy is related to, but I just realized he has a vague resemblance to Bill Clinton.

No, from what I’ve heard, Bill Clinton was a pretty nice guy with bad morals.
I wasn’t basing this one on Bill.

I’m open to suggestions. Is that even a cue?
Maybe it’s more like table polo.

The cues are fairly short Perhaps the knobs rest in the palm of the right hand, and they push the cue from the end to strike the balls. Does that table even have pockets? I can’t tell.

mace.. it was called a mace , round the 1600’s they would use the round end (mace) normally to push the balls,, occasionally when a ball was stuck on the rail , they would use the tail end (cue).. but that was frownd upon because you could easily rip the cloth.. it wasn’t till the 1800’s that they started to use the tail end (cue) ,, 1807 the leather tip.. by accident (putting a cue in the wall..) found that plaster (chalk) would help avoid miscue.. standardized in 1897..

and yes i see pockets on the table…

I’m surprised some toady hasn’t come rushing in by now yelling “Sir! You’re on every television set on the planet!” I’m also wondering if the bodyguard is looking at the door and the sound of such rushing footsteps, or lost in thought deciding if his duty is to the regime or the nation.

Well, the tax system sounds easy and clever, but if there are other things you can pay with, like gold, other precious things, a favor payed back, any bartering, property transfer, the system is bypassed. Not an ideal way to handle state finance.

Beats the hell out of the extremely complex, expensive, invasive,
and expensive to comply with system that we have now.
Sure, some people might find a way to cheat,
but they’re doing that right now anyway.
