I've been wanting to use that ever
since I named his father "Willem".

I’ve been watching Darling in the Franxx.
    https://animekisa.tv/darling-in-the-franxx-dubbed
It’s one of the best anime series I’ve seen.

I tried that site and I cannot open it. Either Google Chrome or Norton stop it.
Norton does stop the extra sites from getting in. Thank-you for the reference though.
This is the only one so far that won’t open for me.
      Take care and stay safe.
What is your PayPal address and how do I find it?
      Thanks

        Try Firefox.
PayPal has locked me out. Something about receiving money without delivering anything tangible.

‘Willem.’ Our main driver at the greenhouse for several years, was a Willem.

So – the Cats now hold All of the controls over the fleet?

And it looks like Gref would like to be in the Navy when she grows up.

I feel silly for never noticing Teresa’s eyes match her hair and lipstick, or if I did I forgot.
I bet after the variety of skin tones, hair texture and eye shapes Bil has seen since he encountered
Terrans he is assuming Teresa’s hair color is natural, and may well be an indication of royal blood,
    and won’t ask about it.

I did not expect the Empire to start with civilian targets. Although Bil’s comment about his name spelling
changing with rank makes me wonder if they HAVE civilians. (Of course, he could have been joking.
We don’t know enough about Lamian culture yet.)

Well, if you don’t get the joke, I guess no one will.
It’s a recurring theme in a science fiction series, “Bil, the Galactic Hero”.
The main character (Bill) was drafted into the Army and told that he would have
to give up the extra “L” in his name, because two “L”s were for officers only.
I guess I’ll have to dump the new Marine drill sergeant, Deathwish Drang now.
      Teresa’s eyes are brown.
As for targeting civilians, the Cat sayeth nothing.

I looked at the larger original. That’s light reflecting off the green strands of hair over her eyes.

I started to read that once, I don’t remember what happened. Yes, I know I’m losing nerd cred for admitting it. It felt like a joke, but I couldn’t place the context.
I’m tempted to offer a contest for the most obscure humorous sci-fi you’ve read. I’d open with the entire Stainless Steel Rat series.

Dang, straight to the big guns. I don’t think I can top that. I was going to Frederick Brown or Eric Frank Russell next round.

I read a couple of that series, The time he was dealing with
a giant chicken foot the mad doctor gave him, and the planet
he was stationed on had weather change like every 5 minutes…
        Sounds like Indiana…

Dang, right to the big guns. I don’t think I can top that one.
