A great job with the bruise on Belle’s cheek where the Mammoth one hit her. I really didn’t think Missy would die although it was a big blade. A closed door party at the Bushears. Nice
I think Missy died helping the Empire. It’s a little lie but her parents would be better for it. Where are the explosives and caps? On the floor out of the way? PS everyone stay safe and healthy.
No guests BUT the forty-two targets? Well, and their +1s (or more). I hadn’t expected that. It does make things simpler. At first I thought the fleet going through the wormhole would raise an alarm, then I remembered: the Lamians think it’s still THEIR fleet. Any Empire (originally) ships are probably hidden in the mass of others, some of them literally, in fighter bays (or cargo bays).
Paul’s idea fits the Empire’s modus operandi, where a lie will heal instead of hurt. Missy and Emma being dead makes it conveniently possible. The MEFers were going to kill them (and did); the girls may not deserve to be heroes (any more than Prince Lee did) but it will serve the needs of their families and the Empire.
I think I read part of that wrong. I focused on the charges and the sealing of the door. But that wouldn’t have required weapons and would have required Pavol to seal himself on the OUTSIDE. So, this will be more complicated and may be more selective than I was thinking.
I just realized that the culmination of this party is going to be to send a MASSIVE signal to the elite / government, that they are now descending fast to the bottom of the heap.
It’s gonna make it personal for them the way it’s already personal for the clanmates of those Catians harvested in the name of a fashion fad. The fact that their entire fleet is now in the hands of an enemy they never knew existed, That will hit their minds the way the party will hit their emotions.
I think the first thing the Empire is going to have to do is explain to them exactly why they are in the wrong, just like they did the soldiers on Catia. Or maybe that is second, FIRST explain to them who (and what) their enemy is.

I am guessing our tattooed assassin lady took out the Blob. They both just kinda vanished.
*edit* never mind, found it.
