No healer needed. The knife looks like it went in just below the sternum. That means it probably didn’t do that much damage. Maybe it just punctured her stomach. Any trauma surgeon half-way worth his salt ought to be able to repair that no sweat. Of course it’s gonna leave a scar. She likely won’t be wearing crop tops or bikinis from now on. Serves her right in my book.
Brunette’s gone too. Missy’s thug was ready to grab her, but his accusation is not just false (we know they followed Belle, and collaterally Emma), it’s weird unless it’s because he was already focused on her. Speaking of, Emma’s not in sight either. And this may or may not be the head of the snake, but it’s not the whole snake — unless the thugs have sniper skills not in evidence (or think they do.)
Is it intentional that many of the Lamians and humans on Catia look ever-so-slightly odd by Terran standards, implying a little bit of genetic drift in the time of Earth’s isolation? Or, maybe, selective sampling in the first place, since we know Lamians are not used to seeing people who aren’t melanin challenged.
Was right about the window entry! But Did Not see that knife coming. Only two people with healing ability- and one of them is very far away…
And, the explosives are Still gone.
I thought healing was reserved, not for anyone. But she is probably not truly evil or anti-empire, just young, dumb, and driven by hormones.
