The long bones, especially the humerus, will have bone marrow. So, unless they kill off the marrow and do a transplant from elsewhere in his body (which might be part of their technique for reducing the chances of rejection, or might be made superfluous by their tech, we don’t know), he WILL have Catian blood cells from now on. At a minimum. Also, an arm (and shoulder structure?) that is stronger and denser than the one he lost.
Speaking AS a hillbilly, I started to say I hope the little minx doesn’t try talking like that nose to nose with Belle, but the truth is, I hope she does. She’ll be lucky if she only has to have her nose straightened and some teeth replaced.
I hadn’t noticed before. In spite of his skin tone Kelly has the blue eyes of whatever Irish ancestor gave him his name. Cool.
I apologize to the blonde in the pink outfit. I have it in my head, quite incorrectly but it’s been there for years and I have to keep reminding myself, that minx is to mink as vixen is to fox. And that when applied to a woman, it means she may be cute but it hides a mean, vicious attitude. That is not even close to right. I have no idea whether this girl deserves that word, and I should not have used it. Yeah, weird to be apologizing to a fictitious product of PC’s mind, but even fictional characters should be judged fairly.
We were told quite some time ago that cats were actually human, just engineered a bit to look different, so it is not actually a surprise – but it is a nice twist!
Also, sorry to nit-pick, but doner = kebabs: you need an organ donor!

give Miral a hard time: “Get your head examined” was an
open invite for a whole slue of puns and bad jokes 😉

Yep. They’re going to replace the shoulder joint and reinforce the support structure to handle the increased stress.
