ethics ,, yeah taking without asking… an she did astral project… Pentia is upset,, not pissed.. she called her Milady..
basically ,, she bought New York City.! 3/4ths of it,, NYC is 785.5 square kilometers.. closest i could find Molokai HI. at 9/10ths or 673.4 square kilometers…
Oklahoma City, OK, is 621 square miles. Jacksonville, FL, is over 800 square miles. Those have traditionally been considered the two largest cities in land are in the U.S., depending on how recently they’ve annexed more property.
Kilometers,, square kilometers,, not miles.. i was trying to reference size of “600 square kilometers..”
621 miles = 1608 kilometers, and 800 miles = 2072 kilometers..
‘Ethics problems’ – Thanks Petercat, now I have to do some research. Humans ate from the Tree, not the Lir (and I do mean, Literally)…. they don’t see some things the same way Humans do. IF Kajm needed to draw from others he just would, and move on- but at the same time he would be selective about it. Perhaps that is something Teresa will have to learn.
Oh yes! It has its’ definite moments and I think I might know what you are thinking of, but would be pleased to hear.
I do however have issues with the ‘hero’ of the story, one being that he waited until two dangerous men SHOT his otter friend before bothering to mention he was being pursued!
You brought up the topic of original sin in your first comment. I really like the way Lewis dealt with the issue with respect to other entities.
I have lost track here, is it assumed that all of the humans in this story have a common origin, or is it a case of parallel evolution?
You do have to give Ransom some slack, he was an academic, sheltered from any of the harsh realities of life.
I figured you were referring to those various species on Mars and Venus *g* Give me another year or so and I shall link you to My take upon it!
‘do Humans have a common origin’… I do not yet know what Petercat shall come to on that- again, I know where I am going with it in my own writing. Suffice it to say: both. sort of!
As to the last: I Understand. That never occurred to me.

Gary,
Ever read C.S.Lewis’ SiFi trilogy?

I’m no literary scholar, but I think Lewis intended him to be an ‘innocent’.
I’ll look forward to your link.
