I think you have the right of it. Look at animals in the wild- many of them seem to have very little issue with cold / snowy weather – provided of course they have access to the things they need, when they need them: food, water, shelter…
I can’t see them losing that aspect of their being, as they rise into a sentient species. That is how I wrote my Lir. What is the use of clothing over fur?
Pete, I just figured out why the symbols up on the wall in panel 4 of the on-Catia story. Those things remind me of the symbol for the Klingon Empire. Was that on purpose on our part or were the symbols already on the textures for the outpost?
“And long enough for backup to arrive. Not that I need it.” We haven’t seen the bayonet, the hand that held it, or its sheath for a few panels. I could have sworn that thing had a long narrow triangular double-edged blade like an Arkansas toothpick when we first saw it. Oh well.
That’s an ARMED naked cat girl. Focus on the deadly parts first. Anybody read Modesty Blaise? I assume there are external cameras with displays inside that allowed them to place all hostiles before the hatch opened.

on the two men, it reminded me of how Bear would
jump on me from the couch, claws out. I’d have to
take a knee and lean way forward so he’d hop off,
then my wife would have to patch up a dozen claw
wounds…
I thought she was poking the rat to get him mad enough to forget he was free and try to kill her. Maybe she’s aggravating him more. I don’t know now.
