no, no, no, whats wrong,, whats she doing.?? we know she will kill, ..”how did she get her name”.. some thing is going on??? an she won’t just murder him,, she has her word, an she has to face her friends.!!
As I noted in my previous comments, he’s won one race, for his life, by sacrificing his so called friends and being somewhat lucky.
The odds of him being now welcome anywhere, much less, safe, except outside the Dragon Kingdom Borders, are pretty remote.
While Mira may be tossing up the options and consequences of some vigilante Justice, or just blowing off some anger and steam, matters little. In all instances, it’s playing with his head.
Also, realization will probably soon set in that he now has no where to go.
So, I wouldn’t worry too much about Mira. The worst she will get, even if her grand plans don’t work out, is to be exiled back home.
However, he now has to live with the consequences of winning his foot race.
Although he might have been better off going out in style. But we’ll find out over the next several episodes.
Miral.. you for got the l..
and i mean.. WHAT is Miral doing?.. we know she won’t just murder him,, she has to much honor.. an kill someone.. she killed (stabbed to death) the guy who killed her mom..!!…………OMG.. Thanks iain Na Hearadh.. she is playing him (playing with her prey).. hehe but now WHY? .. why is she playing him???
If he attacks her, it’s self defense. He doesn’t think about his odds of success — or he exaggerates them. We saw that when he reached for the pistol.
If that’s really the border and not a sign set where it can be seen FROM the border, which is much more like a fence.
If he rushes her, the way she’s holding the dagger, she has a choice of a slashing stroke across the tendons above his knee to cripple him, a disemboweling stroke to REALLY disable him, or a more merciful slash across the artery in the inner upper right arm. Just for starters.
? @Jochi : ? exaggerates .? or did you mean aggravates..?
dagger .. might,, might just be that was how she was holding it when attack started… IF she is a trained knife fighter, then that is a very good “hold” for her size.. (i’m bout her size).. it’s also a close in fighting form, where opponents size an reach don’t help…
About 40 years ago, the instructor in our self-defense class told us:
“If your attacker is holding his knife like this” (the way you see people stabbed in movies, held aloft, blade projecting down from his hand, edge toward the wielder) “he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Break his arm and take his knife. If he’s holding it like this” (blade centered at belt level, projecting from thumb side of hand, point toward target, edge up) “he knows what he’s doing. Give him your wallet. If he’s holding it like this” (blade projecting from outside of hand, hand held low and to outside of body, edge out — the way Miral is holding it now except hers is double-edged so she can’t get that detail wrong) “he REALLY knows what he’s doing. GIVE HIM YOUR WALLET” or maybe it was “Drop your wallet and run.” From what I’ve seen from acquaintances with Special Forces training, that hasn’t changed much. I strongly believe Miral knows how to use a knife. If she goads him into attacking, she can pick from a menu of ways to maim, disable, or kill him quickly.
