maxim 37 : there is no over kill.. just “Open Fire an/or reload”… soo 60 Actually Combat trained ships,, roughly 100 combat trained Catians,, an how many space ships to watch the worm hole, an cover space approach …
now that said ,, What is plan B or C… when plan A falls apart.. IE: NO plan survives contact with the enemy..!
i know ill have to wait,, but please tell me it was not any of Chirk’s kin,,, that will break her heart.!! (Patience Rob..)
Plan “B” is the same as Teresa’s in TGW 061. (For the full joke, start with TGW 060).
It will be a small force – about 100 Catians, about 40 Legionnaires, and about 200 Marines.
Plus Navy personnel for maintenance and repair. It will be bottom-heavy, not many officers.
They’ll have the three frigates that Lt Akira wanted, with 24 “Toby” class parasite fighters,
and another 40 or so “Dagger” class starfighters.
As for the traitors… Monday.
I’ve got my own version of Maxim 37: There’s no such thing as overkill, simply because there IS such a thing as underkill; never leave the job half done.
There’s really no substitute for having a reckless enthusiasm for massive firepower.
What the hell is “overkill”? I never heard of anyone losing an engagement because they brought too much firepower. It’s like when I worked armed security. I carried 15 rounds in the mag plus 1 in the chamber. I also had a double mag pouch on my right hip. When someone would ask me about all that ammo, I’d tell them I never heard of someone losing a firefight because of having too much ammo, I have heard of folks losing a firefight ’cause they ran out.
I learned that you should never engage the enemy unless you have sufficient firepower to sweep them off the field.
In the pre-Trump climate, the military was supposed to use the minimum amount of force possible.
Often, less than that, which got our troops killed.
Because overkill was too much force for a delicate flower named Obama.
You’re a florist, Bill. Isn’t Obamus Floudous a weed that’s part of the pansy genus?
