It looks like they got one up on Teresa as well. That doesn’t happen often. Way to go girls. DAD was truly a miserable human being. Doing that to his own daughter-in-law, but it got turned around on him big time. The hospital fixed the birth problems. Good.
Yeah, Dad was a loss. He’s a groundskeeper on the Legion base, no one wants to take him into combat.
And Mom, the self-styled nutrition expert on school lunches, is doing scut work in the mess hall.
I thought of putting them both in jockey outfits and having them standing at the main gate with lanterns,
but that would be a little over the top, even for me.
Plus, I don’t have any jockey outfits.
Sorry Peter Cat I meant the Captain was a miserable human putting his daughter-in-law in that position. Although the girls’ dad is a piece of work as well.
I had a feeling Doc and Pony’s parents might still be this side of the daisies. Good for them (the daughters). I’m reminded of Teresa’s expression while listening to the testimony at the trial a while back, even if this one is less extreme.
How big is the Legion now? Shouldn’t Savoy be bumped up to Major, if not Colonel, soon? Or is there a hierarchy over him we haven’t seen?
Using Bushear’s island is a nice bit of advantageous serendipity, but it will make it a target. The Navy needs to park an umbrella over it. Which I’m sure is already in the works.
uggh numbers… what happened to the other 2.?? 2 each trip,, 8 a year ,, 17 years,, that’s 136.. not 134… an could be well over a 1000 kids… IF we say ten years ,, because they didn’t start pushing kits out right away ,, one kit a female a year,, 100 female = 10 years = 1000 kids.. opps math,, would be more like 80 females at that time , soo 800 kids… still…..
buttttt… i’ll go with a more realistic number of a 100 kits (called a kindle) which is still a lot… which means the kits ( younger than Miral.) could out number the adults…
ok,, i used 10 years, an a 100 females cuz you said ” Over a hundred were female.” because not all were there, an not ALL were preggers right away, also did not perfect birthing right away.. Chirk’s mom came close to the 10 kits guess tho with nine..
that sed.. IF we go with 30 males an 10 years,, that would be 300 kits.!!! which more realistic number still would be closer to a 100 kits..
Eventually Doc will have to be able to give orders, if only to junior nurses and orderlies and not combat personnel. Of course, such personnel will have to be assigned to her station first.
.. i think it’s implied … not out of your chain of command.. IE: me as a Airwing Sgt. can’t order about some grunt privates… BUT if they are assigned to you (working party) then all bets are off..
an Doc n Pony are civies,, so that had to be said…

Oh. Yeah, you’re right. He was a sadistic bastard, not just to the cats.
Gary made this comparison from Babylon-5:

I like it. Thanks, Gary.
How did you get it to post a link? I couldn’t….
Sounds like Bushear’s island could be a behind-the-lines base for the injured.
I’m an administrator.
And good idea about using his island as a wounded center. I’ll use that.
Thanks.
OK, so it is a cathouse, just not THAT kind of cathouse!

17 years +- a few months.
Not all females, some at-risk males also. Where did you think the sperm donors came from?

Remember, Cats do not have mated pairs. A male could impregnate many females.
They do tend to mate within their clan, though.
