Excellent way to show the difference between opponent and enemy. Good to see Miral having a little fun as well. Although I wonder if enemy running away counts as a dance. Dance Macabre, maybe.
Exactly. Enemy does not equal Adversary does not equal Opponent does not equal Competitor. Only one of those HAS to be destroyed. Only one wants to destroy you, although an Adversary is willing to if you don’t measure up. I also noted he said “I am not” and not “We are not”. “I will not kill you nor will I allow any of my people to” Teresa may enjoy sparring with this one.
Was that a reference to Cat Dancing? If so, when will we meet whoever is playing Jay Grobart? I hope it’s a happier story.
“The Man who loved Cat Dancing” – Another classic!
No, I hadn’t thought of that reference. I’ll have to work a similar storyline into things… Maybe in the paid members’ content.
I loved the book, but the movie was a letdown.
And yeah, “I am not your enemy.”
I keep getting reminders that TGW has sharp readers.
Petercat, I’m an engineer, not an English major, but I think in the 4th panel the word should be ‘forbade’, not ‘forbid’. If I’m wrong, I apologize and remind you, I’m no English major.

A man who appreciates the classics!
