a ‘Ashcan’ format. so.. it is easy to read,
travel size, (fits in pocket), and,, cheap
to print ‘locally’. (don’t need special printer.!)
I know a guy who’s older than me and is STILL a
huge comic fan, got the “boards” and everything.
Turned the spare room into his “Room of Wonder”
(yeah, I wish I was kidding) much to his wife’s
dismay,and lord help you if you so much as
TOUCHED a display without gloves and permission….
That’s when OCD takes over, I can understand a collection
and wanting them to keep the value, but there’s always
that one person that’s consumed by it. He was a friend of
a friend so I really can’t say how much was bravado and
how much was obsession, but you can’t help but wonder.
I’ve a friend who has a collection that would allow him to
take a different toy out every day, and not play with the
same one twice in a year. And he doesn’t buy junk. I know
last year he paid at least $2k for a birth year P08. I figure
his collection is worth at least half a million. His son will end
up with them. And then there are his knives and swords . . .
Heh, that’s why I had guessed that,
because it would be funny for a
grown man to be obsessed with a
comic like that. But, to each their
own, I was like that for console
games, I had 60 for the Atari,
42 cartridges for the NES, 57 for
SNES, 39 for PS, 28 for PS2….

Anyone who has cats can attest to this; you don’t ‘own’ a cat,
the cat will adopt you. Heck, even my mom, who has always
claimed to not like cats, wound up adopted by a few strays.
I’m pretty certain, Batman’s are a LOT like terrestrial felines
as well…

that I let my sister talk me into adopting. feels my only duty is
to provide food on demand, be a warm spot to lay on any time
she deems, and to scratch the itches away ALL the time or be
clawed as I walk by… no claws for you! My legs are starting
to look like a poorly designed road map.
huh? .. in 40 years of cats,. only 1 declawed,
(got her that way). Never had a problem with clawing..
now yes i go through a ‘scratching post’ a year.
but i make my own..

but my fathers skin is so frail I don’t
want to risk it. Right now she’s hunting
for the birthing spot, so either she’s
going to get mean or super friendly,
I’m not taking the risk.
How about the excited girl squeal followed
by the in unison jumping up in glee,
followed by the rapid planning session
(with panting) for everything the other
missed when they were apart…
I did mention I had 2 sisters right? 😉
my partner and her heart sister. when they met at con.
the “squee” stopped the con for a few seconds.
both were singers, so they had volume and pitch.!!
