I can guess as far as those ration bars are, I’ve eaten trail bars,
a collection of dried fruit and nuts glued together with molasses,
(when I still had real teeth) and they were “OK” but I doubt the
human version is as good. I picture something along the same
lines, milled into a dense paste, extruded into a bar form,
wrapped in plastic, years old by time anyone had to eat them.
